I don't mind it at all. Military organization and all that. Dress simply doesn't cut it for fighting and climbing off limits - for me. One of the things I relish in DA is the fact that female armour is sensible.

Hi Solas fans. Pretty new here. I haven't really been on the forums since shortly before DAI launched last year, and normally I'm a lurker, but I just finished Trespasser today, finally ending my first complete playthrough of DAI. And I needed to post something, because ... because ... 
Hats off to Bioware, that literally was my nightmare ending, the worst actual thing I imagined happening. Yes, my inquisitor romanced Solas. I've never felt so sorry for any of my long-suffering Bioware PCs as I now do for her. My poor, poor Lavellan. And she seemed so ready and determined for the next stage of the fight. She told the team that they were going to try and save their friend. It just made me cry all the harder.
This is still only a couple hours fresh and I'm feeling more than a little haunted. How did y'all deal with this? Seriously, I am upset. Where do you see this story going in the future that DOESN'T make you want to curl up in a ball and whimper in sadness?

Agree about the crappy design/color, and I appreciated the gender neutrality. My ideal HC is jackets and pants made of black leather and velvet with some sparse golden accents that add flare, but in a tasteful way. Also small insignia to indicate rank, but lots of medals are not my thing.
I do seem to be the only one to love the bold red, but I do love bold reds.

Actually, all their mods are gone completely both from the nexus (except for a DAO one) and tumblr. And their tumblr is gone. Anyone know what happened to them?

The only type of exercise I've ever loved is walking while listening to music and daydreaming fanfic plots 
But sometimes I muster up the will to exercise more formally and regularly, and I just happen to be in such a phase. It won't last.

Thank goodness for mods. I have some unisex armour mods, and one that overhauls the armour from the Cousland origin so you don't start in generic leather gear (or have mama Cousland open up her bedroom door in her low cut leather fetish gear... Thanks, Bioware.)

I maintain an "elvhen" profile on her (that nose.), and took the Vallaslin off as the opposition to slavery and not freewillness. After drinking from the Well. Sacrifice for her People, of course.

Red is my favorite color, and I clearly gave Nirwen deep red lips as well as the reddish hair by mistake, and when I dress her, it's usually in something with some red to it. The endgame/Trespasser armor I tinted gold though. The red looked too orangey.
I like walking best too, but I actually wasn't kidding about the allergy. I'm weird.

The biggest issue I have with stupid armor like that is when you put it on a guy, they get full coverage. Like, thanks. I'd have totally forgotten I'm playing a female character if not for her t*ts hanging out!

Comic book writer Gail Simmon is a big fan of that. She fully supports Empowered Superman (the crotch window is nessessary for him to absorb our sunlight. Also it is Empowering)

I noticed this again when I started a replay and it made me annoyed again. I'm so glad they learned how to improve armor and just be better about it.
I'll have to look into mods for that when my casual whenever reverse replay of Origins happens.

It's on the old BSN. It's not a seperate mod - they're part of the human, dwarf and elven proportion fix mods (but I'd recommend Elf Update over the elven proportion mod. Same modder, does the same thing but it also gives you the DA2 elven features in the CC. And if you use Ferelden Elves or DA2 to DAO Elves then you can get every elf in the game looking fantastic. It also proves that Zev looks fantastic as a DA2 elf and his apperence in DA2 not the fault of the DA2 elven features.)
