Yes, him. I'm aware it sounds weird to give someone instant coffee for a birthday out of context but I'm sure it makes sense now. And I had a birthday drink to claim at Starbucks so consider me overcaffeinated due to a big and satisfying latte tonight.

I never took Merrill around much with my blood mage Hawke, since they had a lot of overlap. With my warrior Hawke, I had the sudden realization that adorable Daisy can throw shade like a motherf***er.

Oh, I'm sure at least part of it is a ploy. If pressed, she knows what's up. IMO her banters with Anders really highlight this. Like Solas, she sometimes chooses to risk obvious danger in favor of her pursuing long-term goal.

Since we're on the topic, has anyone noticed how much more Varric references Daisy than anyone else? And I'm sure a large part of it is the "they're finding elfy things" so it reminds Varric of Merrill, but I dunno, I think there's some clear favoritism there.

The waiter pouring coffee, filled my cup about 1/3 full and then ran out of coffee, so he had to go make/get a fresh one before he could give me any. So I went over to the bride and groom and told them and jokingly asked them if they had orchestrated it. So we all had a laugh.
"That would've been a good one I wish I could claim to be smart enough to have been that evil" was the response.

I'm all for silly in-joke gifts and things like that because they're so much more personal. We have a few long-running jokes and one of those friendships that you know will just last no matter what.

They are using the same engine so they can upgrade him a bit without drastically changing things.

No, but I think he worries about Daisy more than Hawke. You worry about the flammable/breakable things in Hawke's vicinity, not Hawke

In DA4 each of the hairs on his wolf pelt will be rendered individually. They will also shed realistically, and Abelas will compalin how whenever Solas visits, he always ruins the couch.

I would LOVE to watch Cole try to describe an ancient Elvhen vending machine. Almost as fun would be watching Iron Bull punch them, and Sera tilt them over into piles of bog unicorn droppings.
