Isn't tea just as caffeinated or something strange like that? Caffeine withdrawals sound.. not fun. But interesting. Also I heard caffeine is most effective if you have it right before you sleep. I would never try so I have no idea..
Imagine the fade dream potential O.O.
Out of likes already, but you win
I always plan these things. Gotta keep ma girl satisfied.

Nope - there's less caffeine in a cup of tea then it's in a cup of coffee (AFAIK about half as there is in coffee though it also depends on the type of tea); it has at best somewhat refreshing effect, not the kick coffee can give.
I don't know why, but for some reason, I never figured Fenris would be actually mad at Quizzie for it. I have part of a conversation figured out between them that I'll add to my current fic at some point, that goes soemthing like this :
Ellana : Fenris... I'm sorry about Hawke.
Fenris gives her one of his broody stare : I do not blame you. I was never Hawke's keeper, and I do not expect anyone else to be. Our lives were dangerous ones. She knew I could die and I knew she could die at any point.
He hurts, but I think he realizes that the Inquisitor couldn't have stopped Hawke if Hawke had decided to do something (even if that seomthing got her killed). He knows Hawke too well, and he's also done his share of missions that could have ended up with him dying while going after slavers.
I'm the opposite. Hawke's death would just break Fenris.
Caffeine has no effect on me. I do enjoy an iced coffee every now and then, but I absolutely love tea. I drink it all day. My doctor told me to stop drinking it to see if it's causing all my migraines but after I week I couldn't take it anymore..I had to have my tea. :-P It's not causing my migraines anyway. I know this.

I like everything about coffee except the actual taste
So I stick to tea, but usually herbal or decaf. I kicked the caffeine habit back in high school, and I'm going to keep it that way.
That used to be me until a few years ago. I loved the smell but hated the taste. Coffee for me grew on me like dark chocolate. I started on the most sugary, milky coffee drinks. Now, I enjoy very rich, dark roasts with just a bit of milk. Occasionally, I've even had it black or unsweetened.
Traditional Puerto Rican breakfast includes coffee for children and my grandma used to make me coffee as a child. A couple of decades later and here I am.
Depends on the tea. Some is highly caffeinated, some not at all. But caffeine in any form messes up sleep, so no wonder Solas hates it
There's quite a lot of tea that promtes good sleep. Solas should stop drinking black tea and get on the green tea.
You people and your coffee
! I had half a teaspoon of it years ago and it made my heart race.. I can't touch the stuff.
Are any of you so addicted that you would suffer withdrawals? I don't even drink tea, just plain old water.. or New Zealand manuka honey mead
.
I don't drink coffee, couldn't get past the taste. I don't get how it can smell so good but taste horrible. =p
I'm not a fan of tea either. I do drink caffeinated beverages (yes, soda and no it's not called pop). I am very addicted to caffeine and when I suffer withdrawals it's usually in the form of a major migraine. But then I figure if my only addictions are caffeine and computer games then I'm not doing too badly, right?
Btw, Cee ... I caught what you said earlier. I guess that means I actually DO have an allergy .. to exercise!

Caffeine in tea I think is also absorbed more slowly. I may be wrong.
Now I can't decide if I want tea or more coffee.
I'm the opposite. Hawke's death would just break Fenris.
Perhaps it's because I had to reconcile what we know of Fenris (that he's been seen freeing slaves, even as far north as Tevinter I think?), and Hawke appearing at Skyhold alone, and their relationship. So, I came up with the fact they're loving but very independent from each other. They will each travel away from the other, each put themselves in danger when needed, but always return home in the end, into the other's arms. Neither is suicidal of course, but they both know they might die at some point, and accept it.
So yeah, Hawke's death hurt. It broke his heart and he couldn't deal for a bit, but he mourned and he continues to fight for those slaves who can't protect themselves.
Mine wouldn't even think of getting into a new relationship. She's much too busy for one, and then she could never be completely there emotionally. Not when she still loves Solas with all her heart and is trying so hard to save him. It wouldn't be fair to whoever. And she's not one for casual sex.
Same with my Lavellan. I actually tried imagining a scenario where she did have some casual sex during the time after the main game but before Trespasser. It would probably be during her visit to her clan in Wycome and with that Dalish warrior guy who wanted to marry her before the whole conclave thing. But eventually I decided against it because the scenario just ended up being depressing in my head. ![]()

I feel like he would be mad but not like.. like for example he was mad at danarius etc. but he was giving his anger to hawke though he knew there was no need for it. I see him getting a little mad and screaming to Lavellan but then apologizing her because She had ''no choice'' but I personally saved my hawke. I could not see her die and I didn't care about stroud too much cause my love Alistair became king ![]()

It took me a while to like coffee. For years, I also couldn't get past the taste. Than I started working early and I'm definitely NOT a morning person. Coffee became my life-line for those early morning and I guess I got used to it after a bit. It's an acquired taste ![]()

*hisses at that lazy writing*
Not at you, but at Bioware not bothering to write two seperate things for each of the LIs - one for when they're romanced and one for unromanced.

There is no way I could leave Allistair behind *sighs* So, it had to be Hawke ![]()
I'm fairly sure that the statue of the guy covering his face with his hands and with the sword across his lap is Maferath, Andraste's husband. There are other statues that look like that which are said to be Maferath, including one in the Hinterlands where there's a location marker - it's the same place you put the Felandaris for a quest.
Edit: The quest I'm talking about is this one: http://dragonage.wik...er_from_a_Lover
The quest itself says to place the Felandaris where the statue of a lady stands but the landmark you find there calls the statue Maferath Repentant.
Yeah, it's important to remember, especially when making eyes at random background pieces like statues, that this is a video game and the designers are constrained in what they can use. They can't go around making unique assets for every tiny corner of the map, especially when it's so much easier and cheaper to use codex entries to build lore. If you ever wonder why the ancient elves had a strange fondness for bald archer statues, why representations of Fen'Harel made thousands of years apart from each other look exactly the same, or why Fire-Breathing Bear and Naked Halla Girl pop up all over Fereldan, it's probably not some deep conspiracy buried in the lore, but because some level designer somewhere just wanted to fill a hole.
Honestly, it's why I side-eye any lore theory that uses an art asset as evidence. Sometimes the devs just get lazy, y'know?

There are many kinds of coffees which some do not even taste like coffee at all
I have friends who hated coffee but one special I made one of them started loving it hahah and the other one actually liked it but still did not start drinking the regular boring coffee.
There are people who just hate it though. But I would suggest them to taste coconut/mint chocolate syrup latte or vanilla. It is very sweet and there is barely any taste of the coffee powder. At least the ones they sell here in Finland
Yeah I wouldn't be keen on the migraine withdrawals, I already have enough issues with chronic tension headaches
.
Some medicine has caffeine in it to help absorption, and I believe if you're already tolerant to caffeine it won't work as well (like ibuprofen, a NSAID).
I wonder if the Elven ever got sick naturally.
So I did it. I made a human male Inquisitor for Cassandra. I got to Haven after stopping the Breach from getting bigger. Then spent at least 5 minutes laughing myself silly at how a male human Inquisitor looks in the tan pajamas. They didn't look too horribly out of place on a female human or elf - I didn't like them but they looked, I don't know, ok? But on the human male? Hahahahahahahaha ...

Agree

It's also not just laziness, though that may be a part of it. It's also budget. Like you said, they can't make unique assets for spot they want to put something.
