Coe would be the perfect Feels rogue, don't you think?
I can't decide if you mean Cole or Cee
And they'd both be perfect.
I saw this and had to share. I hadn't realized there was a new patch.....

The patch going out today extends the final slides for Trespasser by more than double their line duration, by popular request.

Yes.

I will say one thing for Mythal, she's got a good heart. Her and Flemeth. Her expression when Morrigan says she will never be the mother she was, then let's her son go and if you ask her if you are now her servant, she looks said and asks if that's really what you feel, leads me to believe she has the same intentions as Solas but won't kill everyone like he intends to do.
Eeeehhhhh, her whole rant about revenge and betrayal puts me on edge. Not to mention that if Morrigan's to be believed, she was a pretty abusive mother, too. Having a good heart and some redeeming characteristics won't necessarily save her from being an antagonist - I'd think Solas himself is proof enough of that.
Given her reaction to Morrigan, though, I get the feeling that Mythal - or Flemythal, at least - is one of those people who never really see just how much they hurt those around them. She seemed genuinely taken aback at the thought that Morrigan thought she was a bad mother.
If forced to make a guess, I'd peg her as the Dragon Age franchise's Big Bad. It can't be Solas - they brought him out too early for him to be the top antagonist. But Flemeth's been in every game so far. She's coded as a villain in every single one. She's always up to something mysterious, she doesn't seem tremendously opposed to Solas' plan, and seriously, that whole rant about revenge. I'd keep an eye on her.
Yes.

I can't type, period. I constantly make typos, and something about how I read makes me really bad at catching them. Pretty much self-evident from my countless typos-ridden posts that I don't always bother to edit.

Oh she's no angel! Did you see that codex entry in the Shattered Library about the 100 year duel? She was a tough mother. Strict to the point of abuse. But she didn't revel in the pain or anything. She did what she believed was right but never went as far as to think that purging all life would be the best choice. She wants the magic to return so she can be at full power. Most likely through Morrigan. I pity the Evanuris though, because her tales of vengeance will be seen first-hand if they awaken.
I see her as a big baddie in the future, but in a twisted way that makes you unsure of what's right or wrong.

I wouldn't be incredibly surprised if she wasn't against Solas' plan at all. She does suggest to us to not hesitate to leap when big winds of change come along. She seems to have her fingers in many different pies, though, so it's rather likely she has her own machinations churning forward even now. I'm just not convinced those machinations are meant to impede Solas the way a lot of people do.
She'd make an amazing big bad! The majority of Dragon Age fans seem to love her despite her often villainy presentation, and that just makes it even sweeter. ![]()

We are many. We are strong. We are a force to be feared. We are too distracted by the hot evil genius to actually do anything.

Oh, I know. That one video, with the Cliffnotes version of Solas' evil plan? And that part at the end where he grabs the Inquisitor's hand?
"Your death will cause more senseless chaos. It is unnecessary. *Magicky thing* Although I doubt you will thank me."
Unf. Damn son.
I used to think the evil genius fetish was just my thing. I'm not alone anymore!
Ah, I have a long and storied history of falling for the evil genius types. Going all the way back to the Artemis Fowl books I read as a wee lass.
OK, for some reason when I read this, I imagined a Feels rogue specialization, and you teaching it, and explaining to the Inquisitor, "Feels rogues are empathetic and sensitive, and learn to draw power from their feels to stab people more effectively." Don't mind me it's late.
But good luck with the writing. I'm still working on my rivalmance, I have a spreadsheet now to organize some semblance of a plot
I think I've found my specialization.
Except IRL I use adorable fluffy animal headbutt gifs and threats* to give Solas and others a good talking to in attempts to save people from themselves. ![]()

I think Solas needs a certain touch to snap him out of it. Specifically the touch of a lyrium infused elf who can crush hearts if Hawke says the word.
I was just editing my current chapter and making some changes. And so I'm at that step again where I wonder whether to post it or to keep writing. This one just sort of...feels...complete for this part anyway, but there's definitely more to this.

She does help the PC in every game. But I don't think she's on your side. I think, like every other powerful player, she is Team Mythal first, and if she happens to help you instead of stringing up up from a tree, lucky you.

Agreed. Like, Solas was no more powerful than an ordinary mage for most of Inquisition. If she wanted him dead she could've come in and steamrolled him at any time. Or subdued him so that she could try to talk him out his crazy plan. But she practically hands him power on a silver platter. Methinks she's counting on Solas' plan - although to what extent, and if she'll let it progress to it's apocalyptic outcome, I can't say.
I think Solas needs a certain touch to snap him out of it. Specifically the touch of a lyrium infused elf who can crush hearts if Hawke says the word.
I can't decide what would be hotter, a stand-off between Solas and Fenris, or between Solas and Zevran.
(No one will get seriosuly hurt either way, of course. We need our sexy elves intact. )

I really want to reiterate what I posted earlier...We know so little of Solas's "plans", that it's really hard to make a valid judgement call; Resorting to hasty generalizations, and illogical assumptions based on misinterpretation and semantics leads to potential misunderstandings. What do we know? He plans to remove the veil and "restore the Magic". He wants to fix a broken world...One that he feels he broke (while actually saving it). The world of Thedas is in chaotic flux, in an unnatural state as a consequence of constructing the Veil. He wants to make amends, compensate for his actions, right a wrong..."restore the way of life/living" before the Veil.
What if the only way to "set the world straight" and create lasting change, is to remove the Veil? What if the only way to end the oppression and violence in Thedas, especially for Elves and mages is to remove the Veil? What if the only way to permanently end slavery (of any people) is to remove the Veil? I would do it...and I would support anyone who would attempt to do so.
Violence is inevitable in the aftermath, as it occurs with any meaningful change, but I don't wish to see our elves and mages just "roll over and die" by the hand of those that want to prevent change or continue the oppression, I want them to fight back for what's right, their freedom..
If Loki were real, he could probably take over the world by sheer force of fangirling. So no. Definitely not alone
Um... can I reveal something? I'm... not really fond of that Loki^^; It's not that I don't like him, but he does... little for me. Not really stirring many emotions, be it positive or negative ![]()

Solas always reminds me of Loki.
As Flemeth said, she nudges or shoves history. She already knows the future and is helping it along to benefit herself.

On his own merits as a character, I'm not crazy about Loki either. But for pure looks, I think Tom Hiddleston is gorgeous, and Loki is evil and snarky, and I am a weak, weak person ![]()
