Pascal, actually.  Or rather, MED-PC IV, which is a programming language for dummy behavioral scientists that then gets translated and put through a Pascal compiler.  I used to do some MATLAB, but I've forgotten most of it.  You lose programming language faster than real language if you don't practice.

Pascal? Isn't that somewhat old-ish? Oh well, there's a bunch of quirks to scientific programming, at least in my field, but I see it might not be the only one. 

 

Can confirm for losing programming language experience. Switched from MATLAB to python ~3 years ago, by now I've forgotten most of my MATLAB. 

 

But on the flip side, you learn programming languages faster than real ones

 

 

Speaking of research - just peeked on DA wiki in search of names for months they have. And the name for July (month I was born in?):

 

I was born in July too! Yayy!

Hey, all we have is Morrigan and Solas's word that Tarasyl'an Telas means "the place where the sky was held back."  It could very well mean "Fade Asscheeks."

I was amused when I saw August is August 

But yeah, Solace/Solis, along with that village, Solas. I kind of wonder why.

Did they run out of names?

 

In the early version of DA lore Andraste was called August (I think).  Basically it's why the name is the same as our August.  I can probably find the source but it'll take me some time.

I assume Solis is the name of the month in Tevene, I kind of wonder why the name in the common language is a word that means "comfort", July is too hot to be called that :<

I think Solasan is at least explained in how its elvish for place of pride.
