lol I never read that, that's funny. Scary even. It just felt like Antiva would be the place to get it.

Yeah so like Imshael enjoys and essentially feeds on people being forced to or having to make difficult choices pretty much. The clan he sent them to would as a result of his actions have a difficult choice to make - take the children in and share what little they have with them, potentially reducing the number of people (children included) in their own clan that survives the winter, or put their own first in order to survive and in so doing leaving the other children to starve. A grim choice all around. That's what Imshael gets off on basically.

I think I'm on cup three? Yeah. I only stopped lurking when someone brought up my fic, and I was laughing because whoever it was didn't seem to know whether to be horrified or admiring of it, or something (I guess it wasn't completely awful?). Now there's this urge the people in this thread have seeded in me, to write something that is more crowd friendly, and I am cogitating on a couple of fluffy fics but I love writing smut .

A word of caution to all: When you're waiting in line for Chinese food, it's probably best not to get so carried away thinking about writing, that you say out loud, "Heal it with magic." just when it's your turn to order.

Yeah. I especially wish we could get clothes wore by Commander Helaine (KE trainer). I got so used to those clothes in DAO. I want them back!
