I'm kind of surprised that there is a LI who will only be available to a single race/gender combination.  Not upset at all, just curious about how this story will play out. 

 

I actually saw it coming. I just didn't expect it to be Solas.

Perhaps Solas will be more like a Morrigan than an Anders. I see more parallels between those two, especially if the elf babies thing is correct.

I'm glad he's a love interest and I had a lady elf planned as "backup" just in case this happened, but I'm a little sad I won't be playing my lady qunari first now and I know how anyone hoping to romance him with a male Inquisitor feels (I was one of the Cassandra hopefuls). :c At least they finally said something, even if it was an accident.

I just realized that this means I won't have to get all conflicted and ragey about him hooking up with someone else on playthroughs where I don't romance him. I mean, I love Isabela, but that one time I romanced Anders and she and Fenris...*growling noises*  Yeah.  I enjoy my character being the center of the universe.   I AM NOT ASHAMED.

 

I do like how they've broken the "all elves in DA games are bisexual" thing with Solas and Sera.  There have been interesting surprises, and I get the feeling a lot of thought was put into the characters' sexualities.

 

Maaaaaan, I really want this game.  Like NOW.

I like this, actually makes me a little more interested in Solas.  I was of the opinion that he'd be another Zevran, but it seems Iron Bull is taking that spot in the party and Solas has a lot more to him.

 

I don't know if I'd actually end up making a female Elf to romance him but the chances of me making a female Elf went from 0% to something other than 0 today, that's a good thing.

C'mon guys.  Don't get down yet.  There is still a decent chance that the last one is Blackwall and, if so, I couldn't imagine that he'd also be straight.  So we might get a third option still!

I think it was that "all male elves are bi". Since we haven't had a female elf LI before. I could be wrong though....

When I first saw the tweet I thought it was a joke. I didn't expect that they'll restrict one of the LI's that much. Oh well, I guess no Solas romance for me.
