I just had my second DA-related dream. Me and a friend were investigating the mystery of the Evanuris when we reached a lake that was surrounded by a barrier. Upon further investigation we found that the lake was unusually warm, no lake in the wilderness can be that warm. Upon even further investigation it turned out to be chicken soup..    Suddenly Flemeth appeared and explained that she'd turned the whole lake into chicken soup for Fen'Harel, because otherwise he'd get hungry. Then she tossed me into the middle of the lake, a black wolf emerged from the depths and tried to kill me. I was about to drown in chicken soup, but had the pleasure of waking up first.

 

Now I want chicken soup.

Edit: I'm still not sure if it was supposed to be a nightmare or not. I was about to be killed, but I wasn't scared, because all I could think of was "this is ridiculous."

Fen'harel: But mom I don't wanna.

 

Flemeth: You will eat you're chicken soup whether you like it or not.

 

Fen'harel: But mom theres not enough meat in it.

It was removed because of cursing  ? Doesn't it automatically censor "curse" words (I put quotations around curse because I'm sure some of the words it censors are ridiculous. Can I say Dick Grayson (I love him he might only be second to Batman as my favorite DC hero)? Or ***** willow (my siblings and I used to take branches and whip them at one another XD that stuff hurts)? I know I can't say ****** (p!ss), which peeved me off when I first noticed it -.-

Yeah, Anders constant whining did get obnoxious. I remember two of my least favorite Anders dialogues were when he said to Carver (not exact quote) "You hate me because of I'm a mage!" of course Carver's reply "I hate you because you won't shut up about it." was gold! And the other "I wish I had no loyalties greater than you. That's the freedom I'm fighting for. 10 years, 100 years from now, someone like me will love someone like you and there will be no templars to tear them apart." Yes, it was all the Templar's fault Anders -.-

Er, Anders, you aggravate me so.

 

Fenris's romance was so much better than Anders  but I preferred Zevran over Alistair... I a thing for elves.

And yes I got a warning because I said the nastier version of butthole hahahah XD though I used to blank one letter.. guess it was not enough.. they did not mind it before though.. I also wonder why since they use the F words in the game and curse even in mass effect games.. ö.Ö

I also have a thing for elves.. I just.. did not like Zevran. I am a perv but that was.. well I need also the romance XD and I've seen his romance. It is cute and stuff but I think it's too much just sexual for me (I did see where he falls for you) but that was not for my elf. I liked because I imagined my female elf being kinda perv like Zevran so Alistair fit her perfectly when she was like: '' Wanna come to my tent ) ''
and Alistair was like: '' Oh.... Y-YOUR.. T-TENT!? ''

I had a blood mage hawke with Fenris and I loved their rival relationship: '' I FREAKING HATE YOU BUT I LOVE YOU ''
XD I was always laughing my butt off.... (sounds stupid but I am afraid to use any cursing words now XD I don't want to get banned)
 

 

It did it to me too on my post for alternative titles for Solas's autobiography. Never gotten one either for profanity. Kinda silly to me considering that there is profanity in the game. I mean Varric's book title for the Quizz has a curse word in it.  Does anyone know if you just use *** will that get you a warning point?

 

edit: I use to be apart of a harvest moon forum where cursing was not allowed, which makes more sense to me since harvest moon is for all ages, and the people on their used words like "turnip" or "gourmet hat" for swear words. Should we use "Halla" or "Chant" for swear words?

I love this quote. Ugh, so many feelings. So many, many feelings. Conflicted, tragic, layered feelings.

 

Fenris does nothing for me. There, I said it. I always just make him angry and while I like him and understand his character, he's never struck me in the LI sense. I was leaning Anders from the beginning, Merrill was an option, you couldn't romance Aveline, and while I like Isabela, she was more of a friend.

Anders was my first DA2 romance... I might have liked him better as a character if I hadn't chosen to romance him first. All the things he did-- the betrayal, the manipulation, the lying and keeping things from Hawke were made worst by the fact that Hawke had been living with him for the past three years -.-

To this day he is the only Dragon Age companion I actively dislike. It isn't even my Hawke's feelings seeping in to me. She was broken by what he did, but she doesn't hate him, and my canon Hawke spared him too for similar reasons... I just don't like him.

If you were wondering what Hawke said to him first this is the line (I really like it),

"I know I'll never be the most important thing in your life. I won't kill you, but I'm not coming with you."

That's a good point... as long as curse words aren't being directed at people why are they bad? This is a mature game, we should all be mature adults and be allowed to use whatever language that we please as long as it isn't targeted at someone.

 I was going to romance Alister, since I have a soft side for snarky, awkward guys. But my elf is an elf so possibility of being dump due to him becoming king, and my Surana was more of a chaotic neutral so her alignment fit more with Zev. So she just saw Alister as more of a brother then a romance partner.

The mods are notoriously inconsistent when it comes to giving warning points for getting words passed the censor. My first and only warning point came for the same thing. I do it all the time so I was a little confused why it was a problem that one time.

I find donkeys very offensive however and request that they be censored out of discussions too.

I liked the Fenris friendmance the best, but that scene where he pushes Hawke against a wall in the rivalmance was super hawt *-* Yes, yes I am a pervert.

But in the keep, I wanted Waffles Hawke to have an dramatic relationship with Anders, where he can't bring himself to kill Anders but refuses to go with him. But choosing not to go with him isn't in the Keep, so I chose Fenris and then switched him to sarcastic Hawke, since my god sarcastic Hawke is so much better. Now it sarcastic Hawke with Merrial, since she would more likely be the person I would actually romance if I played the game for real.

 

Dick could be a person name, like Dick Hawke. "Hello, my name is Dick Hawke. Nice to meet you."

 

The deeper meaning is that you all need to eat more chicken soup or die.

You're really missing out not playing DA2! I know it gets a bad rap, but that's because it's being held in comparison to the masterpiece that is Origins. I'm sure it's probably less than $10 used now. It's definitely worth $10!

 

Yeah but the word puss with a y at the end isn't always used for something sexual or vulgar either. It's part of the name of the plant I mentioned before and it's a term used for cats.
