D&D is done  Thank you to everyone who played and spectated, and I'm really glad y'all had fun.  Thanks especially for being patient with me as we figured out roll20 together.  

 

Unfortunately I have a busy month or so coming up; this was like my one free weekend day for four weeks   I can swing some weekdays/Fridays, but it seems like weekends are best due to time zone shenanigans.  Once I've worked out my schedule, I can set up another game if folks are interested.  The next game will prioritize people who haven't gotten the chance to play yet.

Thank you so much for organizing this game, Sable! It was a lot of fun. Zombutts will live on in our memories!

Solas Thread: The Easily Bribed Adventurers

AAAaah, WTH Solas! Don't you dare go and get tainted on us, I can't even...NO!

 

Well, considering that he's desperate... Though he also thinks that the Blight is a real problem, he's allergic to Wardens who use the Blight to fight it and he possibly locked the Evanuris away from unleashing it on the world, so I'm not sure if he'd ever be so desperate to ever taint himself... Though considering that the Blight might be a dark side of the same coin (power of Evanuris or whatever it is), it might be that both may be inter-connected and unless he's stopped/redeemed, he'd indeed become tainted.

 

Anyway, I'm not sure if it should or shouldn't alarm us - it might as well be visual trick to make the eye effect look more effective... Though I'd like to point out that there's a purple'ish tint to portion of Flemeth's magic - as well as his, even back before he absorbed Flemythal (you can see it on his palm).

I thought maybe it might just be a transition color thing, but one would think he'd know better about becoming tainted.  Still, ugh, Solas, how can you lead to both sadness and hope?

Yes, thank you again for running the game.       I thought you did great, and I know I wouldn't have juggled everything half as well. I'd be glad to play again whenever you run it again, so let me know if you're looking for players. Hopefully I will not get butt stomped by zombies again.

You guys were fabulous   And I've GMed for teenage boys before, so seriously, it's all good.  You've never questioned your life choices until you've had to talk a teenager out of crawling into a dragon-shaped flamethrower mounted on the side of a floating city.

Well, I managed to dissuade aforementioned teenage boy by turning on the flamethrower while he was standing right in front of it.  6d6 fire damage and an additional 10 fire per turn is enough to stop MOST players in their tracks

This last one was a learning game, and I think it was a relative success in that department, even with the twerking zombies  So when I get around to setting up a second one, that will also be a learning game.  I am happy to spread the gospel of tabletop!
