Oh Zev.  No matter what the outfit or concept art, he always looks fabulous and ridiculous.

And I think the Crow armor is pretty hot actually.

 

Like, I want to see Zevran in the future and he's taken over the Crows as Guidlmaster just so we can see him in game in this. And it would be the Guildmaster version so probably even hotter.

Late reply is late, but I had to...

I prefer Solas on friendship path as well. And I must admit, even though I like his romance, it's not in my favs. Still, I find this thread interesting and, at times, highly amusing  

 

I can say that dwarf and qunari Inquisitors on friendship path with Solas aren't that different from human in Trespasser. 

Does the Qunari Inquisitor have any special dialogue in Trespasser?

Of course not, and I don't think he's using blight magic, it's just weird they decided to do color transition like that.

You can see it very clearly, his eyes turn red, turn to blue and red again and fade to normal.

It's kind of scary regardless, he looks like a vampire at these frames XD

Cute in a bit of a sad puppy way though. I watched a video on Youtube of him pleading to save the Dalish in the Brecillian forest. It made me sit there all like "Oh, poor Zev, it's like he likes the fact he could be related to the Dalish but he doesn't want to admit it."

 

But no, he is not elfy elf. The forest is too filthy.

Oh nothing I'm just debating the practicality of the shoes in his line of work. But as Dorian and Vivienne have shown me, there's more to what you wear than that.

Honestly I don't see why anyone who lives in a bustling tropical city would walk around barefoot, you get diseases that way

Maybe elf feet work kind of like how dog feet do. Something to do with how the veins are so close together that the blood is re-heated before it returns or something like that. I know it's said elves can handle temperature extremes, so that's as good a reason why as any.

Damn it, I had a dream that I can't remember which.. involved threesomes in Dragon Age. I'm blaming whoever was talking about it earlier .

Last winter I went hunting with my dad at -18*C. Icicles were forming around loose locks of hair from my breath.

 

The hunting dogs got water to condense and freeze between their toes, so their toes stuck together, which made it more difficult to run, but they kept running and were fine. So this is how I imagine Solas' feet in the Emprise. 

 

Edit: Oops, it said -28*C initially. Now that would've hurt.

I think Zevran, like Isabela, probably appreciates the filth and chaos of lower rungs of a city. I doubt it's nature's uncleanliness that puts Zevran off. He would probably dislike it for the same reason Sera does. It's a whole another world from the workings of city life.

 

But, I never took it that Zevran hated nature... probably just the lack of opportunity and people it presents. He's a people person!

iirc there was a little lore snippet on some official infographic that was released on one of the usual channels that said something like elves are hardy or more adaptable to harsh climates than other races or something vaguely along those lines. can't remember specifics or links etc. but I always thought of that when it came to bare feet plus the cold.

Hahaha now I'm picturing solas running around in the snow with berries, just sliding around out there showing people his moves. Alright now I'm in the gutter again.

I don't do very well in the cold.   But now I have this mental image from you both of Solas with dog feet.

-18C up here in Northern Alberta is a warm winter day!  It gets to -50C or colder with windchill.
