New chapter of Looking Glass is up!
The more the merrier!!! Haha... ![]()
So I can't decide if I like or dislike Umerue's Trespasser on AO3. It's very entertaining and I want to read chapter after chapter. But
Speaking of D&D!
Yep here I go again, going to talk about Critical Role. They uploaded the session they did with Vin Diesel that I mentioned a few days ago. It's only 30 mins and gives a pretty good idea of what Critical Role is like. Plus Vin Diesel.
Okay after you all are done reading Looking Glass (I am too as soon as I post this) Would someone mind reading my last chapter? ( I haven't published it yet) I like it, and I understand where it's going, but as a reader I want to know if I'm too vague, or if I've put too much in it.

Spoiler
I have it on good authority that it's meant to be that way. For now, at least. Also there will be a sequel featuring the two parties in question +one recurring featured character!
Sorry for being a bit off-topic again, but this is something that is seriously annoying me and I could really use some help!
So, here is the thing; when playing Trespasser I noticed that I never got a cut scene with Sera, which surprised me because I thought we were friends (well, sort of at least). I started to google it and realized I never got the scene on the roof with her. I therefore went back to an earlier save, just before the fight with Coryfish, and noticed I hadn't done her two last war-table operations (the one in Tantervale/Nevarra + the follow up) and that I also hadn't found all of the Jenny caches. I did this, and now she greets me in a more friendly manner (according to the wiki we are now warm/friendly). However, still no roof scene. Am I too late in the game? Or is it something else I am doing wrong? She is the only one I never got a cut scene for in Trespasser, and I am a completionist when it comes to companion content!

I have noticed that some companion and advisor scenes/quests won't trigger after What Pride Had Wrought. I've had what happened to you happen with my fem!Trev; even though she was friends with Sera, she didn't get the roof scene before Arbor Wilds, so it never triggered, and we didn't get the pranks scene in Trespasser. That same play through has no Blackwall in Trespasser because I didn't get Revelations to trigger before WPHW (because it was a rushed PT and I was a dumdum and didn't talk to him before starting it), and no matter how much approval I gained with him before Coryphenus, it never showed up. I will say that I have no idea if I am correct in my assumptions, I just know that in any play through that I finish EVERY bit of companion and advisor content before unlocking Arbor Wilds, everything goes smoothly. You can still complete companion quests that you had already started before that point, but they don't seem to trigger after the fact. Except for your advisor nemesis quest -- they go away if you don't finish them before WPHW.
This is just what I experienced. There's no information out there that I can use to back up what I am saying here.
Where did this ever come from? Or is it just some collective fantasy I seem to have missed?
Zevran would be about 39 by Trespasser. I see 'silver fox' as like....50.
edit: They are so fluffy. I need one with me in the feels corner.
Yeah... I'd like one with me in the "feels corner" too.
Also, Happy 5500!!!
(Btw, I did begin to draw party wizard Solas but I haven't had the chance to finish it up yet. )

Thanks for answering, although I had hoped I wouldn't have to replay such a large portion of the game! I wonder if it was a bug or done intentionally, because if the latter I really don't understand how the player is supposed to know that. *Sigh* The worst part is that I'm pretty sure that I finished Jaws of Hakkon and Descent after the Arbor Wilds, and I am in no mood to replay them again! I guess I will simply have to live with Sera's friendship being incomplete... ![]()
Just finished the latest chapter of Looking Glass.
Well dang. DAMP is is not working for me. It'll crash and kick me back to the deskstop if I so much as try to enter the proving grounds. anyone has had that problem before?

You are using the Free Trial version right? Can you enter the game itself without it crashing on your PC? I didn't have any trouble but I didn't try the free trial version either.

Yeah, it,s the free version. I can get on the character screen fine. It's only when I try to enter the proving ground (or, I would guess, a match, although I didn,t try that since I'm on my own) that I crash.

I wonder if it has to do with PC system requirements.
urgh guys, I am a bad combination of 1. got cajoled into drinking too much when I really wanted to go home at 8pm and make a nice meal, I hate British drinking culture so much (aka. get smashed or go home), and 2. got rejected for another job application. I am also far too hungry and too sleepy for this early in the night. need hugs asap please.
I've played, like, two games of PC DAMP. It just never did it for me the way ME3MP did. Maybe it's the lack of biotic volus
Oh man I love ME3MP but I am so... awful at it, genuinely. No hand-eye co-ordination, no idea where the enemies spawn, I spend most of my time running around the map then accidentally finding a swarm before then being pumelled to death very quickly. I managed to unlock Krogan Warlord eventually - completely unkillable unless you're swarmed by a bunch of boss enemies - but it's quite boring melee'ing everything in sight and I still sucked like hell. It's so much fun but god I'm so terrible. It's still going, and plenty of people still play it (which is testament to how fun it is) but the weekend events stopped running years ago.
I'd be up for DAMP if I have time (but I don't). Also, combat is my favourite thing about ME3 but my least favourite thing about DA:I. Still, if you guys are playing a weekend please let me know, my Origin username is DonDRin (stupid name, I know).
Maker, I'd go insane.
I have the opposite problem from you--way too much parental attention over every little detail. But my parents and I get along great now that we permanently live 400 miles apart
I love them, but we just don't have very much in common, and they get smothering if we spend too much time together. So we see each other a few times a year, over holidays or long weekends, and that's perfect.
Haha, that sounds identical to my relationship with my parents, except scale down the distance ten times because I live in a small country. I get on really well with them now it takes more than an hour's travel time for them to visit. They're overbearing in too large doses, but sweet by themselves.
I think my lack of sleep has finally gotten me. The Life is Strange finale should be here in a couple of hours.
Where is MayriyaNoori with the Antivan coffee and delicacies when you need her?
wait WAIT it's tomorrow? oh ****. I'm busy with lectures all dayyy that's no fair I wanted to run through it again ![]()

Oh man, I've been rejected so many times when I've applied for jobs (often they never answered at all)! It was one of the reasons for why I went back to the university, to see if I will be more lucky in another field. It takes such a toll on the mind to always feel unwanted or unqualified, and I've noticed that people who have never experienced unemployment have a really tough time relating and saying the right things ("cheer up" and "just keep at it" can be so incredibly annoying and patronizing sometimes!).
A huge hug for you!

MIght have been a fluke. It crashed twice, but third time's the charm and it worked fine and I went through proving ground alright. this time.

smart guys halp
I've spent ages overhauling and updating the OP today and I can't get it to post all of a sudden for some reason, I keep getting the error message
"You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community."
I wasn't getting it previously. I've tried various solutions that I've found on the forums via Google but I can't get it to work.
I'm sad I've worked really hard on this post ![]()
Green IS a primary color in additive color model - https://en.wikipedia.../Additive_color
Why do you think the color model for your screen (any screen really) is RGB (Red-Green-Blue)?
That's because your screen mixes three primary colors for us to see all the rest. And yes - the yellow we see on screen is simply an illusion!
Also, yellow itself is a primary color in subtractive color model - https://en.wikipedia...btractive_color
And considering that in case of magic, most effects we deal with are related to light, hence we'd mostly use an additive color model.... Though I like to point out that we see "yellow" (divine?) magic that is probably the rarest - both Justinia's ghost is golden and the beam of light the orb shoots to close the re-opened Breach is golden as well.
It's also the colour of the fifth ancient in Eternal Darkness!
And the three main ancients are red, blue and green.
Hmmmm.
Where's Madrar and the tinfoil hats?
Hmm, I've heard a lot about Life is Strange without knowing anything about it. Is it like the Walking Dead with releases? And what's with all the hype around it?
Okay so... Life is Strange.
*vauge gestures*
*screams for five minutes straight*
*curls up into a ball*
*sobs*
And that's basically it! ![]()

We're the same timezone, right? Well it's downloading RIGHT NOW for me. So it'll be there when you get back from finals.

Bah, I'm really trying to get this chapter done so I can move on to more glorious things.
Endingz are hard!
