Agree. Outrage!
Josephine
No kidding.
I mean......Antivan!
I should really never, ever visit a country where the native language is derived from Latin.

Home! Bubble bath!
I've been out of likes for a while. Just imagine I gave likes to this entire page! (And double likes for the turian threesome. I don't know what that is but it sounds like something I'd like)
Double likes? There's one turian in that threesome who is feeling very left out, you know.
Bubble bath sounds nice. I haven't had a bath tub in years.
Awe. That makes me saaaaad! I need baths. They are a key part of my process. Haha
Solas' voice doesn't do much for me, though. I mean, it's a lovely accent, but not particularly hot? He just sounds like a rather poetic, polite welsh dude.
What?! I find that whenever a Welsh or Scot softens their accent, it oozes in sexuality. It's like they're being kind enough to take our ears in to consideration. And that's part of what makes it hot!
Fenris was a funny one. I find Gideon Emery's voice extremely hot, but Fenris got thoroughly friendzoned in both my playthroughs, so now he's just my handsome bro with a hot voice
How to friendzone Fenris? My brain cannot compute. ;P
If elves had circus acrobats among them, this is probably what they'd wear XDD

Solas' voice has so many layers to it and his tones are really hot. The poetic and polite, soft quality adds to it.
Tonight's writer problems:
When you spend time on your walk thinking about a particular scene/chapter and even going as far as recording dialogue and plot as a voice memo on your phone....and then once home, you feel compelled to write something entirely different. Past fluffiness.
Also, when people get flustered or you surprise them in some way, as in Solas with Lavellan and a lot of Cassandra's flirting, those moments were well acted and suitably adorable. Solas has his hesitations and overthinking. Cassandra is a bit disbelieving, surprised, unsure, and it's so cute.
How is this thread talking about accents and voices and NOT mentioning Zevran? Or Josephine for that matter.
I reckon that in terms of the cultural traits of the human nations, Nevarrans are Badasses, Anders are Independent, Marchers are Indomitable, Orlesians are Cultured, Tevinters are Refined, Fereldans are A Bit of Rough, Rivaini are Rebels and Antivans are Pure Seduction.

Just posed first chapter of my fic

My heart is beating so fast ugh I'm so nervous
I would love to hear anyone's thoughts!
I liked it! Especially the driving scene, I didn't know what was going to happen so it had me hooked.

Indeed. There are faces on the shoulders and at the elbows, not just on the knees!

yay thanks!! I edited that scene a lot and tried to make it mysterious while also hinting a bit at what might be going on with the main character.
I hope it was easily read/followed

For me it looks like something from a far future. Where's your spaceship, Solas?! (is its name Serenity???)
(... actually, for some time I was thinking that perhaps the big secret of ancient elves is that they're aliens who arrived on Thedas with all their new magic-infused technology and then Something Happened - and now all those that remained are now scrambling what they can find together to either become the dominant form on the planet again or fly away on their home planet/another dimension... But I'm not entirely sure why I thought that it may be somewhat plausible
)
Indeed. There are faces on the shoulders and at the elbows, not just on the knees!
Because why not maximum ridiculousness?
The tight garment also reminds me of an interview Olivia Munn gave where for the upcoming X-Men film, she has to be greased/lubed into her latex costume by two women for her role as Psylocke.
Solas, how do you get dressed in this tight elven finery?

Well duh... MAGIC!!
I must be the only one who doesn't like Zevran or his voice. *hides*

Just kidding. No reason to hide. That's totally a "to each their own" kinda thing

I like Zevran as a character, as a person. But he and his voice do nothing for me in that sense.
As for Josephine, she's too much like me so it's weird. I think she's adorable though and love her character.
Writer problem #2: When you unintentionally start a fluff story by talking about freshly killed goats. ![]()
Water, I'm going to change it to water.

I kinda prefer Jon Curry's performance as the American Male Inquisitor over Zevran, if I'm being honest.

Well, there will still be dead goats in the scene, but it won't start off with Nirwen prepping goats she just killed for transport back. Ah, young romance. ![]()
edit: Also, the site of my ankle fracture from three years ago decided it wants to feel painful tonight. Maybe I can use 'old injury becomes annoying one time' in writing somehow, though not really in the case of resilient 16 year olds.
But post-DAI or post-Trespasser Nirwen? Maybe. I hate my characters, really. ![]()

It is really good. The m!Brit voice wasn't working for me at all on my m!Lavellan, and I changed it to the m!American one and he felt like a completely different character in a good way.

Sooo... if we're in need of comfort from Solas breaking up with us, we go into a fort with Solas inside of it?
Huh...
THAT'S BRILLIANT! ![]()

now that I think about it, he should be more scantily dressed than that
*takes off everything but jawbone necklace, gives him dreadlocks wig, gives loin cloth and the wolf fur scarf/sash/whateverthehellitis from trespasser armor*
