I have a lore question and I'm not sure if it has been discussed already? Possibly after 5000+ pages lol. Ok here goes!

 

The orbs that we activate for Solas, they strengthen the veil, so are they possibly like templar powers in that they solidify reality? Also has it been explained how templars do this in the first place? (I can't remember >,<) Lastly, I know some people have floated the idea that Solas is waiting for some type of celestial alignment to bring down the veil, have any particular eclipses or other random planetary movements been mentioned in game or codex before?

The biggest eclipse mentioned is the one that (possibly) woke Solas up.  There's an entry in the Black Emporium back in DA2 that mentions one which causes Fen'Harel to stir.

Hmm.. I will have to try and find that then. I have plans to use the above mentioned things in my writing and wanted to try and keep as much to canon as I could with names and how they worked lol
