As soon as he said that I thought of Mass Effect's Samara, and her 'in another life,' and a thousand ridiculous crossover ideas popped into my head. I forcibly crushed them though, for that way lies madness. I am already shaking under the weight of countless plot bunnies.

Maybe that's part of why Solas killed him.  As punishment for his betrayal, as insurance against being compromised in the future...but also for his own sake.  So that mercy for his old friend couldn't sway him from his purpose.

I'm in the weirdest mood and it's probably from being overly tired. I keep sleeping very little and also managing to fall asleep then jolt awake over the past couple of days. The feels corner might be nice and familiar to sit in though.

 

At least I got dialogue for a scene that takes place after anything else I've written so far and thus will just get tucked away for the time being.

 

I should really learn to concentrate on one part of Nirwen's timeline at once but my brain wants to flip around.

AO3 is so not cooperating! I will comment on Stealth in more detail later, but I want to say I enjoyed your chapter with Vivienne. I enjoy snark as much as the next person, but that character really burns my bacon! She just irritates me to no end. None of the response options they give Quzzy are even close to what I would say to such a person. I probably despise her so much because she reminds me of my sister, and it strikes a bit too close for comfort for me. I finally stopped recruiting her altogether.

 

I did try to like her, even started taking her out on missions with me and each and every time I had the insane desire to murder knife her! They should have made her the bad guy in the game, seriously!

I'm actually learning to appreciate her on my Mahannon Lavellan playthrough(who is all sorts of hitting up on Cass) because she actually likes him.

 

Solas hates my Mahannon. I'm pretty sure the moment we get to Skyhold I"m getting this.

I was at a pub quiz and one question was about a toxic element. The host proceeded to list the symptoms and I thought "hm, sounds like lyrium." Then I remembered how Gaider had modeled the effects of lyrium after mercury. My teammate suggested lead, but I said I was pretty sure it's mercury. I was correct.

My teammates shall never know how I came up with the answer. Never.

And the way his hand is positioned.  Like he wants them to touch, but he knows he needs to pull away. Even when he's scary and Fen'Harel-y, he always looks so sad.  Like he needs all the hugs.
