That may be the British-est problem ever. :)

But no...too much water - ugh. Too long steeping? ugh. Too much milk - bland. I get it.

Just had hot chocolate and now I kind of want tea after this. :D

The more I watch this show....the more convinced I am it's about drugs.

You think the Evanuris had lyrium parties and didn't invite Solas?

Absolutely, that's what the whole rebellion was over. They had a massive raging lyrium party and then posted all the pictures on FadeBook the next day. FenHarel was so offended he locked away the magic because if he doesn't get to party, nobody gets to party.

To my shame, I don't even own a teapot (it's on my Christmas list though, I'd really like to make it properly). I've become really slapdash with my tea - I used to precisely measure the milk and the time it to brew (3 minutes ideally), but now I don't even take the tea bag out of the mug because I cba  Usually involves it being too strong but given the opportunity cost involves a nicer tea but more washing up to do, I feel like I've made the more efficient choice.

As I said I might earlier, I made a collaborative Spotify playlist here. It's a copy of most of the fluff writing music playlist I made recently so feel free to add songs to it if you have an account.

https://open.spotify...KyJ3UUWzNrb5EYg

If this actually works, we could have other non-fluff ones. I'm actually curious what the variety of people in here would add.

I am pretty reliable with the milk by sight/color now, but I still mess it up occasionally. I did one last week. I used to use an old metal kettle on the stovetop forever but my old boss gave me a fancy glass kettle years ago that I didn't even use for years since it seemed....excessive and I had my trusty metal one. But it's so nice. I can't stand leaving the bag in though. Too bitter at the bottom. :P

It's all rainy and chilly here today, so I think yes, a nice cup of tea is a good idea. Sorry, Solas. :)

I'll check it out. But even my goofy fics are all written to very angsty music. I have the music taste of a 16-year old.

Do you want a tea pot? I have like 30 of the jolly things. I offload them to everyone around me but somehow the collection keeps growing and I didn't buy a single one!

I'm curious what we'd even all assemble, given how different we are in here, from all over, and with different backgrounds and preferences.

My fluff songs do tend to be on the sweet side. I think you all know I am feelsy.

If this actually works, we could have other collaborative lists that might reflect our collective weirdness....or might work...somehow. :D

I can put up my list on YouTube. I just never thought anyone would be interested given how angsty it is.

FadeBook conversation the next day starting with Dirthamen's status.

Dirthamen: June, that thing you made to put the lyrium in was BOMB! I need to know how you made that, bro!

June:Glad you enjoyed. I'm thinking about adding an enchantment to it so you can change the flavor. So far only cinnamon works though....

Andruil:  make jerky flavor

Falon'Din: That's disgusting, Andruil. I vote cake flavor, like those little ones Fen'Harel(accidently links) likes so much.

Fen'Harel: You have a problem with my cakes? And what is this all about flavored lyrium?

Andruil: omf FD

Sylaise: Fail.

Falon'Din: It was an accident!

Sylaise: That doesn't make it less fail.

June: Hey guys! I got honey flavor to work!

Dirthamen: Awesome! Try berry next. I love berries.

Fen'Harel: I'm telling Mythal about you all messing with lyrium!

Sylaise: She was there.

Fen'Harel: What?!?!?!

Sylaise: Totally, but don't tell Elgar'nan, he doesn't know.

Elgar'nan: My wife was where last night?!?!?!?!?

Falon'Din Here we go, how does it feel Sylaise?

June: Berry doesn't work, Dirth. You like melon?

Dirthamen: Sure thing, bro.

Fen'Harel: Well, why wasn't I invited?!?!?!

Andruil: cause u suck

Fen'Harel: I suck what exactly?!?!

Andruil: lawlumadbro?

June: Melon works!

Dirthamen: On my way over.

Falon'Din: Me too.

Snip!

Poor Fen'Harel, not only do they not invite him to the lyrium parties they don't show up to his poetry nights either. Or his Mural exhibits! The Evanuris got what was coming to them.

uh this is the music I was listening to when I last wrote DA fiction.

confession: my taste in music is embarrassingly eclectic, like I scale from Nicki Minaj on one end to strange ambient barely-music on the other end. I'm not sure you'd want my stuff on the list.

If you live in the UK, if you're sure about it, I'd happily take one off your hands. If not - don't worry about it! International shipping is really expensive.

So is mine. Let's see, even what I put on that list is a mix of Patsy Cline, The Lemonheads, Fleetwood Mac, a Bee Gees cover, some One Direction,  Ed Sheeran, and more I'm forgetting. I get in all sorts of music moods.

And I'm always open to new. The point of creating a playlist like that was exactly that.

Oh man.  I want those tanks, but I already have an N7 hoody AND an Inquisitor hoody.  If I try to justify more to my boyfriend (we're saving up for a house ATM), he might just lock me away from the computer :P

Yeah, I've been keeping a running mental tally of Inquisition related expenses, and they'd have to be selling something pretty awesome (and Solas related) for me to add to that embarrassing total. Seriously, the ladies Hermit shirts are sold out now. You'd think they might take the hint and drop some Solas or elvhen related goodies. I'm wondering if they might wait until closer to the holidays.

How about a Solas hobo apostate sweater? That makes more sense than their new Cullen hoodie. What does that design have to do with Cullen?! They seem to be selling a lot of products now geared toward ladies that are a little but too "inspired by" something in the game for my taste. Take the Morrigan shirt with the hood. If it was not labeled as Morrigan related I'd look at it and have no clue what it was meant to be. Next they'll be selling Alistair neckties patterned with little cheese wheels and lamp posts...on second thought that would make too much sense.

I haven't written fluff yet, but I plan to write something for a fluff Friday at some point. I'm adding a song or two for ya. Donna Lewis' "I Love You Always Forever," and we'll see what else comes to mind. I've got a hallaton of angsty Solavellan songs to share if you make a non-fluff list.

I think, given everything an angsty list is probably also needed.

As for the clothes, they hired a small fashion team to do this sort of 'items inspired by' line, and I think reception has been pretty good so far, so we'll see where they go. Personally, I like having options that aren't just t-shirts, but it really depend on each item. The Cullen hoodie needs a big, fluffy collar.

FadeBook

Sylaise: So, did anyone go to that art thing Fen'Harel set up last night?

Andruil:lawl no

June: I thought about it, but then Dirthamen and Falon'Din came over and we decided to see if purple really is a flavor.

Dirthamen: FYI, it is and it's awesome.

Falon'Din: Tasted a bit like wine, but better than the crap Fen'Harel drinks.

Fen'Harel: Why didn't any of you show up last night?!?!

Andruil: ffs FD

Sylaise: Do you not understand how FadeBook works?

Fen'Harel:My murals tell the story of Elvhenan and none of you care! June, I thought at least you would be interested!

June: Bro, I make stuff. I don't care about your pretentious interruptions on EVERYTHING. But let me know if you ever paint up some Desire Demons.

Dirthamen: I'd pay to see that.

Fen'harel: They are Spirits of Purpose!

June: There you go, man....that's why no one likes your stuff.

Fen'Harel: You put faces on armor!

June: LOL I know, and it's so funny that some people don't even notice that! Totally Dirthamen's idea there, I just made it happen.

Dirthamen: *fist bump*

Fen'Harel: It makes no sense and it looks bad!

June: Not what Mythal thinks. She ordered that armor for every single sentinel she has command over.

Fen'harel: She what?

June: True story. She wants everyone that works for her to wear it. Everyone.

Andruil: ROFL fail wolf is fail

June: And she wants me to make some adjustments. I think Mythal has a thing for thighs, but the problem is that it makes the armor really difficult to get out of.

Falon'Din: Oh, that doesn't sound like a problem, does it Fen'Harel?

Fen'Harel: I hate you all!!

Sorry, I live in NZ, shipping to literally anywhere is stupidly expensive. But let me warn you, on your quest for tea. Gather round, children, and I'll tell you my tale of woe.

Years ago my sister-in-law gave me a teapot for a Birthday. I guess she didn't know what else to give me and it was pretty enough, so it sat on the mantelpiece. My mother saw it and thought it looked lonely, so she got me another one for Christmas to keep it company. A friend saw the two of them and thought they looked cute so she gave me one too. Then my brother gave me another. Then an old family friend, my grandparents, even my own boyfriend.

Soon it was nothing but teapots, every birthday,Christmas, and family gathering, teapots everywhere. They flooded in until I ran out of room, every shelf, cupboard and bench, brewing, always brewing. Watching. I was hedged in and still more arrived. What could I do? After years of gladly saying I loved them how could I confess to those I love the most that I am, at best, only mildly fond of tea? No, it was impossible, I must smile and bear it, for it is too late for me. But I warn you, when that first pot arrives, turn it away. Do not let it into your house! Once it begins, the deluge never ends

But don't mind me, I'm just a rambling old lady. Would you care for some tea?

I totally agree on things that aren't t-shirts. It's just I'm not going to buy something just because of the title of said item. I'd understand the Cullen hoodie if it had feathers on it or something.

And...adding to the angsty list...tee hee.
