Though trying to find a kitty with eyeliner took me to a lot of pics of cat eye liner, which is actually what I've done, though I close the bottom.

June: She is in some places. And FYI it's her favorite color.

I've been wanting to add purple or dark red streaks (which might also make me feel a bit better about this haircut I still hate) but I need to put it off for now.

 

I love my purple hair, but it's a bit of a pain to maintain.  Mine is a combination of purple and dark magenta dye, and the purple definitely fades, bleeds, and stains more.  So after two weeks, the magenta is still pretty good, but the purple is noticeably faded.  I've been using dye in my conditioner once a week to touch up the purple, and that seems to work pretty well.

Lyria: Dad, our family has the lamest magic ever. All my classmates learn badass spells and get really powerful artefacts from their parents, and all we ever do together is hang out with boring spirits and weaken the Veil. 

Solas: Hmmm. And who is judging the fair this year?

Lyria: Ghilan'nain. 

Solas: Excellent. Then this year we will paint together a mural of the Black City with seven spheres inside it.

Lyria: That's not even magic.

Solas: Art is magical, da'len. And when they see it, you will win first place.

Solas: Absolutely not. And if I hear your band ever played a song, any song about me, you will be grounded for a month. In the Fade. 

Lyria: You're ruining my life!!! I can never have friends, or go on dates, or even wear vallaslin like all the cool kids, all because of you and your stupid rebellion!!! And now I can't even play the song I wrote about you!!!

Solas: *sighs* Ir abelas, da'len. All right, I will not restrict your freedom of expression. But can you go practice somewhere farther away from my office? It's almost midnight and I am trying to get to work. 

Lyria: Mom said we should play here.

Solas: She would, would she not. Hmmm, I have an idea. *Draws a map of his castle, marks a spot, and hands it over to Lyria.* Why don't you go practice here? 

Lyria: That's in the dungeon.

Solas: Yes, the acoustics are excellent there. It will help you work on that song about the Blight. If you hear screams, do not let it bother you, just play louder. 

Sending her to the dungeon kills two birds with one stone, gets her out of his *cough* hair and tortures his prisoners at the same time.

You can always do splashes of color at the ends, the last two inches or so.  That way if you don't like how it fades or grows out, you can cut it off sooner.  Mine started that way, but now I've got long purple streaks all over my head, so I'm committed.

We did pink highlights for my daughter last year during the summer. We figured it would fade by the time school started. Nope! It lasted forever! Two streaks lasted nearly a year, but then she is a blonde so it took really well. Of course every girl in school had colored hair one week later

Lyria: Tevinter is a decoy dad. Mom's not even there. And she wouldn't know the answer.

Solas: I see. Foreplay. Perhaps... Start with imagining some romantic setting, a wyvern pit for example. Then you can imagine him having the kind of body you... Or you could turn into... Look, it's just like with people, only you need to be careful about... about... Listen, I think one of my spies is a double agent for Sylaise. I will tell him to ask her about starting a sex ed class at school. Spirits will be on the curriculum.
