I'll be in lab celebrating by myself with my flies  But I'm tempted to draw some vallaslin on my face and call it a "Dalish elf in a modern AU" costume to make it more fun while working.

Yes! I think there's a few of us.

I think I'm going to write a three-act fanfic focussing on my Surana, looking at her development from DA:A, to DA2, to DA:I, trying to flesh out what 'looking for the cure' may involve as well as some unusual pairings I've been interested in recently (Surana/Anders, or Morrigan/Merrill).

That or I try a hand at the original fiction that's been kicking around for years now about a woman looking for her estranged sibling who was kicked out of their home whilst she was a child.

It just seems she always get forgotten about by DAO players due to Amell's connection to DA2.  Surana>>>>>>>Amell.

 

Sounds fun! My suggestions:

 

- good

- genius

- snob

- artistic (can't remember if that't the correct name, but basically the trait where he's a gifted painter)

- brooding

- proper

- rebellious

- loner

I only have the base-game (I'm more of a sims 2 fan, really, haven't played in ages because it's such a time-sink), but I'd recommend artistic, heavy sleeper, loner, and unlucky off the top of my head.

Others you might want to consider are: good, genius, perfectionist, snob, and commitment issues. I like droso's list too, as well.

Isn't bookworm a trait? That'd work .

- Avant Garde (he can 'critque art'.  And this goes for EVERYTHING.  Random piece of graffiti found in town?  He's going critque the void out of that.  Also lets him build the street art skill better and you know that modern!Solas would be making subversive murals everywhere in Arlathan)

- Artistic

- Genius

- Rebellious

- Loner

- Heavy Sleeper/brooding

- Commitment Issues/perfectionist

 

Haven't fully picked the final two yet.  Leaning more towards brooding and perfectionist, though.

 

@shallow waters: I much prefer TS2 but there's elements of TS3 I like.  I've also built a Pricefield house in TS3!  Chloe is Flirty, Brave, Virtuoso, Rebellious, Hot-headed, Daredevil, Friendly, and Unlucky.  Max has Photographer's Eye, Loner, Shy, Avante Gaurd, Virtuoso, Artistic, Brave and Bookworm

Oh that's right, it's Halloween.

 

Man, it makes me sad how Halloween barely means anything to me anymore. It used to be my favorite holiday (And I guess it still is) but now it just... comes and goes for me, and nothing happens. Like I'm obviously too old to go trick-or-treating, living in a complex means there's no sitting on the porch and passing out candy, and I hate parties in general so I never go to the Halloween ones. I don't even have tv so I can't watch all those dumb movie marathons.

My Vivienne obsession still lingers. I think she could just take the name Vampirenne for everyday use. 

 

Also I just totally thought of an AU where Vivienne is a vampire, and Solas is a werewolf, and they are at war with each other

Surana is my favourite origin. (Brosca and Tabris are close seconds). I mean, my approach is: why play Amell when you can play Surana? If you're interested in the DA2 connection, play Hawke, they're much more fun. Being a mage, a warden, and an elf, Surana has a personal stake in pretty much all the conflicts in DA2 and DA:I.

Exactly.  I'll always go elf rather than human.  Plus, I like underdogs.  So my three favourites are Surana, Brosca and Tabris.

 

The house is great fun.  I have the Into the Future expanion so they're now chilling out in the future.  Max is a professional photographer and even found some birds to photograph.  Luckily not being eaten by ants, though.

I'm always a bit uncertain about downloading something from the exchange that includes CC.  Which that Solas clearly does.  I like to know exactly what it is that I'm putting in my game.
