Ha! I got a question which might ruffle some feathers.
I've seen a lot of people fiercely refusing dominant Solas. Now, Don't jump on me just yet - I am not talking 50 Shades of Awful here. Only a man who'd probably try to lead and have the upper hand in relationship, all in a mature and respective manner. However a lot of the fandom refuses that idea. I do not think it's that way off, though. He's been young and hot blooded once, and now much older and wiser, perhaps, but still himself. He shows signs of dominance throughout the game. (Why does the dominance word sound so bad when written in here? Ungh.) Is it because Lavellan basically initiates the relationship? That itself isn't sign of him not being so.
Now this is just my headcannon I do not - I repeat I do not - take anyone else's headcanons away or as offensive. It's a game, and we're free to imagine whatever we want to.
I am just wondering from where that "oh no, he'd never" comes. (And again, I am not talking Christian Grey here, or Iron Bull, m'key? Being dominant is not exclusive with being loving and gentle.)
