I did that for Halloween one year and applied white makeup and ringed my eyes and applied fake blood all over. Cue the comments on the pictures from guys on how 'hot' it was.

I just really wanna see early reactions, given how hilariously mean some of the comments were on his concept design 'he's ugly' 'he's boring lol' etc.
I don't know exactly when it happened, but I remember it was either jsut before release or very early after release. I was absolutely stunned going back and finding out that some people over here knew before they finished the game.

I remember being so disappointed because I always romance the male elf (Its a habit, I blame Tolkien), and in the promo material I thought he looked so bland and boring. And bald. Everyone knows bald guys in Dragon Age games are always villains. Bioware have taught me so much about my sexuality: first the green aliens, now the bald old guys.

I've been meaning to finish that now we know all the details and because I secretly love the one song everyone hates but it was lost in the early days of the thread and I couldn't be bothered looking for it.

I played the game in May and avoided this thread until I'd finished. Solas was my first romance, but I was accidentally spoiled just before What Pride Had Wrought - I was wondering what my next romance scene would be, and was browsing his DA wiki article to find out, scrolled down a bit too far thinking 'I've almost finished, no need to pay attention to these spoiler warnings!'.
I was so angry with myself, I'm so picky about spoilers, and the only thing I'd been spoiled on before then was Flemeth = Mythal (which I didn't care half as much about).
Aw man, that's the worst!
Though it's funny, looking back the devs made it so jolly obvious I felt remarkably silly for not figuring it out earlier.
In about march of last year there was an article of leaked information about Solas in a German magazine, only they spelled his name wrong and all their information was tame and inaccurate. Bioware followed it up by denying the whole deal, so the very first official word we got on Solas was literally 'EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS WRONG.'
Give it up for Bioware, folks, who shameless told a joke six months before anyone would understand the punchline.
I don't have the time now... Even though I'm on summer break now (yeah, it's opposite seasons where I live). My parents put a time lock on how much I can spend on media... Well, I hope Solas gets his egg headed plan destroyed by my Lavellens glorious ways...
