That was just sad, especially after Feynite has been quite open about how anxious she is about sharing her writing. And for something that's quite normal as far as dividing chapters with long scenes, and not "manipulative" or however you want to call it, at all. *sighs* It's just sad that, when you have someone get even a little bit of exposure online, something like that is bound to happen at some point.
This is the unfortunate truth about the internet. People have lost their filters. They believe they can hide behind the persona of their online identity and anything goes. I am proud of Feynite and how she responded. I would have done the same in her place. One polite comment addressing the concerns and ignore any further hateful comments. Not because I am afraid to have a debate or argue on the internet, it simply is not worth my time and I know that in such situations my own filter comes off. "If a wise man argues with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs and there is no quiet"
