I do like that they don't feel the need to give Saber a romance or to make her number one goal or regret about a romance. Saber is easily one of my favorite female anime characters, but I loved Lancer so naturally I'm inclined to fanciful daydreams *.*

Nope, Lancer doesn't die horrifically, instead he and Saber end up happily together!

I've always thought an f/f Morrigan would add an interesting twist to the DR plotline.  I mean, Morrigan joins the Warden because she wants to do the ritual and get the OGB but then she finds herself falling for an f!Warden and it doesn't make any sense to her because she can't use the Warden to make the OGB.  So she tells herself she using the Warden to emotionally manipulate them later but then it starts getting serious so she backs the hell out.  Then at the endgame she has to sleep with either Alistair or Loghain and she has to ask the woman she loves to help her convince them because it's the only way the woman she loves wont die.

 

EDIT:

 

A lot of my Anders issues come from the fact that I cannot stand his voice.  So maybe I'd be fine with an f!Anders.

That part was tragic    But it didn't negate that they had a friendship before that. 

 

And Lancer didn't want love at that point. He thought it was curse how everyone would fall for him. He wanted to fight honorably for his master.

Oh wow.  Yes.  So much yes.  F/F Fenris romance sign me up.
 
Femanders I'd probably find just as annoying (sorry Cee) although I love Velanna and she'd basically be shem Velanna.  Assuming it was just the LI getting genderbent then I'd probably be annoyed that Anders was the LI and returning character instead of Velanna.
 
In fact, Velanna as an LI.  Yes.  Can't see it working in DA2 what with her huge issues over humans.
 
FemAlistair's heterosexuality would be my bane but I can't see her romance working the same way with a female character anyway.  The Warden would have to be the Knight to her Lady rather than the other way around, or I can't see her being a popular LI with male players.  She'd be very popular with f!players if she was FemAlistair with the same romance but also a lesbian.
 
Male Morrigan.  Yes please.  Shirtless swampostate with a hidden agenda who is tall, dark and snarky?  Wooooooooh.  But his romance wouldn't go over well with female players since it would pretty much require their character to become pregnant.
 
Male Leliana I'm not sure about, but female Zevran is a hell yes.

Lavellot tends to be fairly toxic towards Solavellan fans and Solas fans, though.  Don't know how much I'd trust their analysis on this matter.

 
Ah, that's a shame, I only just started following them and I quite like their posts, I had no idea. I got the impression they did like Solas though?

I've had some of their posts cross my dash a few times.  I've not been impressed.  They're also very rude about the writers personally (there is a line between being critical of someone's writing and what they were saying about Weekes.  That was going into personal attack territory).

 

There's a tumblr user you may like to follow.  They're very Anders positive and Circle critical and have a ton of trans/nb headcanons for Anders.  I'll PM you a link to them when I'm on my computer.

 

I'm already a massive Fenris fan (to the extent I can only romance someone else if I haven't recruited him) but Femris is just... wow.

As for me and Solas... aside from what's been said, I can't hate him, because... well... I force at least some of my own characters to make same kind of heart-wrenching decisions. Or worse. I recognize tortured souls that are faced with no choice or barely any choice when I see one

If the same genderswap had been done to Mass Effect I would probably go for Kasumi (why wasn't she in the main game and a romance *sigh*) or Tali (she is adorkable like Garrus and has such a great accent).

Eh, I think we all will have such days... for me it's almost every time I think how long we yet have to wait for more concrete information as well as continuation of the story  That in itself makes me even want to become less invested in thinking about any characters and their fate... Like that feeling a Warden who romanced Alistair gets as she watches him walk out of the room with Morrigan. My first male play through romanced Morrigan and he refused her the Dark Ritual. I loved that drama   Mahariel felt betrayed and used by Morrigan and he also thought Loghain should counter his sins by becoming a Grey Warden and taking the burden of that sacrifice. 

 

Really?   Of all the issues people take with him that's probably the first time I heard that one!

Those two were the first two characters I ever "shipped" or at least used that term for it. I wasn't familiar with the term before to be able to use it

Zevran, Fenris, and Solas   my male elf loves! They're all romances for my canon world state too. It's becoming kind of ridiculous that all the prominent heroes in the last decade and so have all been ladies who romanced a male elf   I want a smexy male elf in the next game too... but I feel like this is becoming a habit!

So....I was perfectly fine for a few months..no Solas dreams. I've been busy playing other games and it's been good, but now that my new computer will be here soon and I'll be able to play Inquisition again...I had a dream last night.  I remember nothing except running around in Haven. My computer needs to get here NOW!!!

It's weird weather where I am right now. It's super foggy and humid... and also warm. It's November and I live in the Northeastern U.S.! It was freezing a few weeks ago... I am annoyed. I like nice systematic weather. Fall is chilly, winter cold, spring warm, and summer hot. None of this weird warm fall weather after it's already turned cold but then decided it changed its mind and wants to be warm again -.-

 

So....I was perfectly fine for a few months..no Solas dreams. I've started playing TS3 again (I prefer TS2 but there's stuff in TS3 I like) and I just splashed out on getting all the EPs but still lack the Stuff packs AND there's so much cool stuff on the Store which I want but I really can't buy any more from there.  I'm NOT getting TS4 though.  Screw that.  I've spent enough on TS2 and TS3 (although I did get the free TS2UE)
