I was very tempted to reply to that post with "And now you know" *Solas voice*
I'm surprised but I'm not that mad. I was a lot more angry when I first started reading, and tbh anger is my gut reaction whenever I learn of another one of his grand acts of stupidity. But now I'm just very sad for both of them.
They need hugs. Hugs for everyone.

Yes, I know that seems to be how you process his acts. It made me instantly sad when that was confirmed in Trespasser, but it turned almost immediately into a sign of change from the Solas who did that, and thus, hope....if he can learn from this, but for an emotionally compromised Solas, hopefully Felassan + Lavellan + Cole can be the keys to hope and redemption.
And Cole and I are both firmly on the hug Solas train. 
Regarding Lavellan and heartbreak, I find the possible annihilation of Clan Lavellan and all the elves in Wycome more heartbreaking. It just pisses me off how easy it is for the humans in Thedas to turn against the elves. This is why if the game allows it, I will side with Solas if he can change the lives of the elves. I am really at the point where I don't care how many Thedosian lives will be lost in this revolution. 
And what's worse, in-game, there's hardly any recognition that Lavellan has lost his/her clan. At least with the break up with Solas, we got to see it and the NPCs react to it. 
Also, I wish some war table operations like the Clan Lavellan one allowed the player to participate more. Create side quests out of it and allow the player to control other parties. I mean we are gathering all these agents but we're not actually seeing them in action.
Just venting because I am in Skyhold now and I had to carefully choose which advisors to pick for this war table operation so that my Lavellan would still have her family after Solas dumps her.

And just saying, I would be pretty terrified if a fire arcane warrior was running rampant in the streets of Val Royeaux. Just.......everything on fire.....everything.

Which says something about how f***ed up Thedas is already. Introducing 800 lb badass lizard people with redundant organ systems, blood rage, and centuries-long lifespans can only make things better

I wonder what Wrex would make of the Krogan heads mounted on the wall in Gaspard's trophy room.

I'm now imagining Wrex at every stage of Inquisition. It's glorious. Wrex being all 'well ****, what have I gotten myself into?' after the conclave goes off. Wrex whining about how you princesses need to deal with a real world-ending threat (like the reapers), none of this hole-in-the-sky crap. Wrex plotting pranks with Sera or sparring with Iron Bull or getting along eerily well with Varric until he decides to pick him up to mess with him (Wrex, no.) Wrex gaining magic and shooting fireballs and not really giving any cares either way. Wrex performing shield bash on walls via headbutt. Wrex performing shield bash on enemies via. headbutt. Wrex headbutting chancellor Roderick. Wrex headbutting Corypheus. Wrex headbutting Solas (after Trespasser, of course - before, his opinion would be 'weird, but probably not wrong').
It's so good.
