The one that was uploaded is such a layered blend of sad, sweet, and ominous that is perfect for Solas.

Does anyone else prefer the "Dread Wolf" track that was ripped from the game over the "Lost Elf" version in Spotify? The Spotify one has much better sound quality, but I like the ominous boom boom sound at the beginning of the game version. =/ I'm getting awfully picky about one piece of music.

 

I don't think they release all pieces of music they have, because I think there's very high possibility it will be either a main theme or often-heard piece in DA4.

Not sure I prefer one over the other, but I wish it had been included. I did rip it from my own gameplay vid so I at least have a higher quality version of it than what YouTube provides. :/

This is what I get for trying to wait for a physical copy of the Game of the Year edition. (No, they still don't have it in stock in my darn country.) I'll have to resort to ordering a US version from the States. 

 

(I could get the digital version but I'm stubborn and want the physical copy dammit! )

 

As much as possible, I'm trying not to listen to the Trespasser soundtrack too much (I've actually listened to Dark Solas and Lost Elf once since it was uploaded on Spotify) or watch anymore videos since I still want some tears to shed as my Lavellan finally goes through the heartbreak that is the Trespasser DLC.

I'm the same way as far as physical copy vs digital.

 

I wasted all my tears on my first run through Trespasser with my canon Inquisitor. There were none left when I did it with my Solasmancer.

Out of interest, how many of you have friends you can talk to about DA in real life? A few of you mention family/sibling/parent/child reactions to Solas at times, whereas literally nobody in my family even knows I still play video games, we usually just bond over sport or gossip. My brother played a few things in his teens, still plays COD time to time, but has no interest in RPGs.

I know a few people who played the Witcher 3, and I have a few school friends who I no longer talk to who play similar things - one os a big ME fan in particular, loves anything with sci fi or zombies, another I know is big into Lara Croft and old platformers. But I'm mostly on my own here really when it comes to games. All of my IRL friends are much more into indie films or theatre, really.

My fiance introduced me to Bioware games. I was mostly a Final Fantasy/Zelda person before we met because I'm terrible at shooters. He knows all about my Solas obsession and openly mocks me for it. 

And I have a Cullenmancer friend who just started playing games with DA:I and went on to play ME and the other Dragon Age games. We share Cullen/Solas porn and silly DA related things. It's kind of a friendship I've always wanted! (I have always had trouble making friends because irl, I am really shy. ) I moved away so I can't go to her apartment and giggle at tumblr stuff anymore.   But we still share things!

This is my first time posting in this thread...I think. I've been lurking for a long time even before I created an account. But I think I found a reason to post and....I'm pretty sure I'm going to the deepest darkest part of hell for this.
I just recently got my copy of Fallout 4 (I know, wrong game) but my friends were watching me customize a character when suddenly one of them was like "Make Solas!" and...well, I can't stand the idea of a human Solas but I had to take the challenge. So, I decided to post my attempt at Fallout 4 'Solas'. I'm kind of terrified....and my heart kind of aches a little.
