Not a link, or a tweet. Odd, I thought we had something firmer than that? Well, Allan said his was an interesting romance, so, yay!
Thanks. I cannot seem to find anything else either *the plot thickens*

I just went from past-shoulder-length hair to just-above-the-ears hair. I'm not bald, but does this make me that much closer to Solas? ![]()
I was planning a female Dalish for him anyway, but sorry to all you guys who wanted to do different race/gender combinations.
I trust Bioware to do it right, though. Still pretty damn excited.

Calling a romance 'interesting' of all possible descriptions is a little worrisome. He's just preparing the Inquisitor to be a sacrifice to Flemeth!

If that's the case then I will join you. Pixie chick in da house! Whoomp whoomp!
This reminds me..a lot of people didn't like Solas 'cause he's bald. I am not bald but I get comments from men about why did I cut my hair? Why do I want to look like a boy? etc. It makes me lol.
Personally, when I try to think of Solas with hair, it just doesn't look right. Team baldy, all the way!

Last November I went from hair that was to my butt to hair that was an inch above my ears.
Best decision I've ever made, even though everyone was telling me it would look terrible on me. (Alas, couldn't donate it--had, like, an inch of dyed hair at the bottom.)
What class of Dalish? I'm pretty sure I'm goin' for a Necromancer (which means Braeth will fit in with my secondary canon YAY).
A little theory going on for Solas...if he is an ancient elf, could it be possible that he knows the Elder One, if he is an elf? If so, I wonder...during a quest, we find out about Solas being an ancient elf, and depending on the choices, we could:
A- Join the Elder One and Solas, therefore betraying the Inquisition at a later point.
B- Go against the Elder One and, if he has low approval or friendship, Solas betrays you (but doesn't die then)
C- Go against the Elder One and Solas stays with you
A bit like Zevran in regards to when he may betray you but adding more to where it carries on. Personally, if it is true that he is an ancient elf, I would actually like to see this. Especially if he isn't a complete villain or good guy. He does things to help the Fade.

Solas with hair is just wrong.

I get a pixie every couple of years. Love it every time. It makes everything so much easier. (Except dealing with the rodents - I mean, freshmen at my school, but it was pretty much a lost cause anyway.)
I was thinking Necromancer or Rift Mage, mostly because I just want to see what they do. Leaning toward Necromancer for maximum number of NPCs who go "OMG WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, YOU'RE A *insert Thedas minority here*."

Oh, man, the ability to go dark side is, like, my secret wish. And if it's Solas who drags me over that line--! You don't understand how happy that would make me. Like, there would be shrill screaming of joy. You could hear me in space. Where there's no air to let sound waves pass.
@Phate Phoenix: I would like to see that choice...even if I wouldn't choose it. XD I always play the goodie goodie two-shoes.
But yeah, I would love to see those options. I would always try to go with option C. ![]()
But I do like the idea that Solas possibly being interested in the elven female over an event. I would like it even more if it's due to the Dalish Inquisitor's own personal quest...or maybe that is my wish since I want to see actual personal quests for the Inquisitor. ![]()
At least it wasn't called boring!
I always keep in the back of my mind that it's being written by Weekes, so I expect a lot of feels!
Who else did he write? Legion?
I am also now wondering if team "Crushed Expectations" means he'll try to flirt with Sera.
I'm wondering how the rejection will go. Can we try to romance him anyway, but he decides to tell us outright that he's not interested or will he decide just after some time that this will never work? The way a character refuses to form a relationship with Inquisitor may be good enough to make up for the loss.
Hopefully, what I just wrote makes some sense.
THIS. Say if we tried flirting with Solas would he just come out and say bluntly that he doesn't like humans..dwarves or qunari. I wonder how Bioware handled the rejection this time around. On second thought...maybe I don't want to know.
I am imagining what would be so unique to the female dalish for a story related romance. As people are suggesting, something must happen differently to trigger the romance if a dalish female....So many interesting things. Gah!...I want to know. Scratch that, I need the game. Sadly, I need to finish this thesis first...*head-desk*
Solas has some moooooves~

All those theories are really cool. I could see any of them happening. If given the choice in one of my playthroughs I would side with the elder one if Solas turns out to be a hot villain.
Mordin and a few other ME characters as well. Along with the Rannoch and Tuchanka storylines in ME3 (both which were REALLY good imo)Who else did he write? Legion?

My favorite of his is Mordin. My heart still hurts over that one xD
Oh yeah. I forgot Mordin. Duh. And I refuse to play ME 3 so I guess I'll have to miss that good writing.
I am SO HAPPY Solas is an LI! But my canon male elven inquisitor is heartbroken. ![]()

And of course, the Masked Empire, which tells us a lot about Elven lore and even about ancient Arlathan society.

UGGGGGHHHH MORDIN

I AM A SCIENTIST SOLARIAAAAAN
(He also wrote Tali, and Jack in ME3. And I think, possibly, Kasumi?)

He wrote Mordin, Tali, Jack, maybe Legion? Those are off the top of my head. Oh yeah! He also wrote the Tuchanka mission in ME3.
Edit: Ninja'd ![]()
@Tevinter Rose: I don't know if I would do it, but if there is an option for that, I might take it. XD Just to see how a villain Solas would play out. In the end, I just hope he is morally ambiguous. Kreia from KOTOR 2 is my favorite character due to her grey standings on life. If Solas is the same, I would be intrigued.
