I am the very model of a scientist rift mage, I've studied I've studied spirits, the fade, dalish, and dreams.
I'm quite good at sleeping (as a subset of (my) biology) because i am an expert (which i know is a tautology).
My megaFade studies range from hunger to Pride, I am the very model of the scientist side.
Which I still need to read :'( *hangs head in shame* Well, at least there's still time!And of course, the Masked Empire, which tells us a lot about Elven lore and even about ancient Arlathan society.
THIS. Say if we tried flirting with Solas would he just come out and say bluntly that he doesn't like humans..dwarves or qunari. I wonder how Bioware handled the rejection this time around. On second thought...maybe I don't want to know.
I hope they do it better than Obsidian did with the Bounty Hunter in KOTOR2.

I also really need to all these novels. 
I do plan on, one day, making a Mass Effect playthrough where Solas survives. Of course that means killing my other favorite character (WREX NO GOD WHY) but, well, ha ha ha.
Last November I went from hair that was to my butt to hair that was an inch above my ears.
What class of Dalish? I'm pretty sure I'm goin' for a Necromancer (which means Braeth will fit in with my secondary canon YAY).
I wish I could manage a pixie cut! So easy and cute. Unfortunately my hair is this stupid not straight, not curly, "better do an actual thing with it after you shower or you'll just look like a wild animal was teething on your hair" texture. The shorter I cut it (and I once cut it very short), the more of a pain it is to do. So past my shoulders it now stays.
As to class, I'm hoping Tempest is as cool as it sounds. If not, Assassin. Artificer just isn't my thing...I can no more keep track of multiple gadgets in a game than I can in real life.
Cassandra is totally judging his hair. Just look at her face. Her arched eyebrow clearly says, "Andraste's twisted knickers, what was he thinking?" My Inquisitor would like that coat, though!
I hope they do it better than Obsidian did with the Bounty Hunter in KOTOR2.

All this talk of potential villainy and curiosity of why he only goes for female elves is merging in my mind to imagine him having some villainous plan to make elves the supreme race in Thedas.

Ok my slight attraction to villainous characters may be seeping through there.
But seriously, if he turns out a little bit evil then that makes my all new planned (yes, I really did re-plan all my quizzies for Solas) dalish inquisitor all the more interesting. For, very long reasons, I am going to make her a fuzzy ball of sunshine. If fuzzy ball of sunshine falls for a character who is going to lure her to the dark side... Awmahgawd. So fun.
I just hope 'interesting' doesn't mean emotions will happen. I don't need another Thane blowing my cover and making people realise I have feelings.

@Tevinter Rose: I don't know if I would do it, but if there is an option for that, I might take it. XD Just to see how a villain Solas would play out. In the end, I just hope he is morally ambiguous. Kreia from KOTOR 2 is my favorite character due to her grey standings on life. If Solas is the same, I would be intrigued.
I love playing ruthless disney villain type characters so its a no brainer for me lol XD. But I do hope he is morally ambiguous too. Either way if any of those options you listed were on the table they would make him even more intriguing
That was just a couple weeks before DA2 came out.). ), and since I had him do the DR (cuz....sure?? why the hell not. Heh!), we lived and married. Though, it sort of felt like an arranged marriage, since I didn't realize I had romanced him. 
@Tevinter Rose: I am hoping for those choices. XD But, at the same time, I hope those choices are not solely for the Dalish Female. I hope everyone can have that choice.

Sure, I was interested, but not as a love interest choice. I guess after learning Varric wasn't an option, I accepted Solas would be one, and now learning he is an elven female only choice...let's just say my interest rose...

well...isn't Solas's VA a singer? (a metal singer, if I remember correctly?) and in DAo Tammen (or what was his name) the apprentice hunter didn't say he sung for his beloved? maybe Solas will sing for the inquisitor as an elven tradition?
(mostly joking, but Leliana sing for us in DAO...so I would not be surprised if someone else sing in DAI...)
Actually kinda really hoping he isn't a villain or has a villain like romance. I imagine he's yet another mage with a hidden agenda, but I really don't want an Anders like romance. That's kind of why I never did it in the first place. Though I can see where the appeal comes from.
Hmmm...yeah. I may have to steal @kirie's "Nope!" gif, if he turns out to be a true villain. I probably will end up spoiling myself on his romance arc, before playing. I can do angsty or heightened drama play throughs later, but I just can't do them on the first run. Interestingly, regarding DA, this will be the first game that I read up on a specific romance BEFORE playing the game. LOL!
DAO and DA2, I "lucked" out on the first runs (from a romance perspective), since I didn't spoil myself with those two games. I went into DAO completely blind, and DA2, the only two things I knew was that we were NOT playing as the Warden, and that Anders was a companion again (that was a total accident finding that out; had gone to his wiki page to look something up for my third run through DAA, and they had already put up a picture of him in DA2
In DAO, I happen to run with a human noble who didn't even KNOW she was in a romance with Alistair (did I mention I had no clue about the game, before playing it
As for DA2, "noped" out of Anders, pretty much from the get go (since Justice was a big red UH-UH!, and ran into Fenris. Worked out quite well.
Subsequent run throughs, I varied the role playing with gender, class, origin (for DAO), quest choices, personality and romance. Still, have never desired a "in love with the villain" type romance though. *shrug* But that's just my feelings about it.
It's the exact opposite with me. I spoiled myself for all the Romances in DAO (bought the guide) and, er, watched an illegal livestream for the ending of Anders's. 
I WAS BAD OKAY I ADMIT IT. But Zevran and Anders still ended up being my guys, and I adore them so. This time, however, I'm trying really hard to not overly spoil myself for DAI. It's a new experience for me. Let's see how my anxiety handles it.

Problem with Anders was that you didn't even have the option to follow him on his path.
If you've played Neverwinter 2 (yep, Obsidian not Bioware), Bishop betrayed you near the end. But you had the choice to side with the final boss (and thus, stay with Bishop in the end).
What I mean is: Would be cool to side with Solas, or have the option to convince him to stay with us.
Anders on the other hand, was doomed anyway.

Me too T_T I wont be able to have children in real life even though I desperately wish I could so video games offer some wish fulfillment in that regard for me.

So I'm trying to catch up cause I haven't been on all day and I still shake my head at the people that are saying "Because he wants elven babiez." Please stop. He's straight because he's straight and he's into elven women for a certain reason don't know what that is yet( Maybe he's had bad experiences with other races other than his own) but that's how PW wrote him. I'm so gosh darn happy that he is romanceable...but it seems I can't celebrate cause there are people bashing him and making up crazy theories on him in here and elsewhere!
