So, quick question...what World State are you guys going for with your female Dalish Inquisitor?
 
I plan a male Dalish Elf who makes choices for the long run completely and romances Morrigan and performs the Dark Ritual, and a male Hawke who is aggressive, sides with the Templars, but he somehow falls for Merrill and tries to save her from blood magic.

Hmm... Probably the same one I'd planned to import already. My Warden was a human female blood mage - the epitome of chaotic good - who romanced Alistair, put him on the throne by himself, had her best friend Morrigan perform The Ritual, and stayed on as Alistair's mistress and advisor - at least when she wasn't off doing Warden things - a role she came to love.

My aggressive female Templar warrior Hawke was, paradoxically, pro-mage. She romanced Anders and, in my head-canon, ran off with him and her bestie Isabela on her ship after aiding the mages.

So my rogue Inquisitor will be third in a series of powerful, amazing women. The more I think about it, the more I like the fact that she'll be an elf as opposed to human like the first two.

So, originally, my first run was gonna be Grumpy!Ceyrion into even-grumpier!Essery, but, now, I'm switching gears! Braeth shall be part of my would-be line of Blood mages, were Blood mages still a specialization. BUT I AM MALLEABLE. So I'm going for Necromancy instead.

 

Neima Amell, romanced Zevran, started as Andrastrian but quickly turned from the faith, survives. Temperence Hawke is... unstable. Laughs when she shouldn't, doesn't really get mad, gets creepy. Romanced Anders, sided with mages.

lmfao. This is too funny. I've been giggling all weekend about "the greatest dev slip-up in DA release history."

 

Mainly because I feel somewhat responsible. ("Why me?")

 

So I had to make this. It sums up my initial reaction, and I think the entire reaction of Solas fans, worldwide.

I know in my first playthrough, my character was Felicity Amell who was an idealistic, but finds herself falling for Zevran. Because she hates the idea of sacrificing due to her life in the Circle, so she tries to find solutions that benefits everyone. Working a compromise with both the werewolves and the elves, protecting Redcliffe and chancing to bring the mages to save Connor, having Harrowmont rule without the Anvil, and doing the Dark Ritual so neither she or Alistair has to die and help the world in other ways.

 

Alexia Hawke is a witty mage who sides with the mages, though she didn't care too much until she falls for Anders and tries to protect him. Plus, she doesn't mind if someone uses blood magic or works with spirits so long as it doesn't hurt anyone. With Anders, she believes he can bring much good even if Justice was tainted.

Was lurking on this thread when the news broke and the mood has since shifted. I didn't read the newer posts since I read the reactions. didn't mean to dig up any negativity >_< I guess what I meant was that I'm really happy and I think we have a lot to enjoy :-)

No worries... Its just that this particular conversation feels like it's been on a loop in here these last couple days, and I think we're all kind of tired of it

And... For my part, I think I'll just let our scruffy little average hedge mage (totallynotbuyingit) fend for himself. Cuz he's nails, or so the rumor goes.

My canon state, the one my first playthrough will be based on is a male elf mage who did the Dark Ritual, made Anora queen, fell in love with Alistair and romanced nobody as a result, but ended up with a ninja'd post-game Zevran romance that I decided to keep via headcanon (and now via the Keep).  My canon Hawke is a male sarcastic mage who romanced Fenris and sided with the mages.

 

The world state for my second playthrough is where my female Dalish Quizzy will be (provided my willpower stays), and that's a male Dalish rogue who romanced Morrigan, did the Dark Ritual, and married Alistair off to Anora.  Hawke is a sarcastic female mage who romanced Fenris and sided with the mages.

Hm.  My original plan was to use my Spirit Healer Team Mom Amell.  Her world state is sort of in limbo because she would never have agreed to the Dark Ritual but I love her too much to not use her for Awakening/Witch Hunt.  My 'canon' Hawke is a jerk with a heart of... well, gold is probably too nice for her but you get the idea.  She sided with the mages.

 

But I may use something else.  Maybe ultimate sacrifice Dalish rogue who never got over Tamlen and diplomatic blood mage Hawke who sides with the mages.

 

So who is going to pull this thing out again just for Solas?

In order to keep my Warden/Hawke/Inquisitor as consistent as I can, and in order to at least fulfill the female!warrior component of my dream Solas romance, I'll probably make a Champion Lavellan and import my 2H F!Aeducan/Zevran//SS F!Hawke/Fenris worldstate. I only wish that the female elf model wasn't so incredibly thin- I would love a beefier version for warriors.

I guess they were trying to make them look different than the humans...in Origins, all of them looked human with a few differences. Like the elves having pointed ears and being somewhat shorter.

 

Least to me they did. Also, how can you post pictures on here? I tried hitting this image button the reply options and it wouldn't load. The screen to put the URL wouldn't even go away. -__-
