Yeah, no kidding - everybody is like "FALLOUT 4" and I just sit here and grumble "TES VI. WHEN, Bethesda!? D:"
Yes, when!?! I don't play anything else besides TES and DA so the next couple of years will be loooong.
Hubby is playing Fallout 4 atm and all I can think of when I watch him play are silly things like "When do you get to fix the roofs?".. "My god, look at the stains on the beds!"... I guess I really can't do post-apocalyptic games.
I think after I finish this DA:I, I'll play Pillars. That's another game I wanted this new computer for. I also got Divinity: Original Sin. I really enjoyed the other Divinity games. I loved being able to turn into a dragon in Divinity 2. hehehe And then there are Witcher 1 and 2.
So many games to play. I'm sick all the time so I don't have a job at the moment...games are all I have to keep me sane.

I've spent a lot of this week catching up on a bunch of kids TV shows that I follow (guilty pleasures, no longer really care about my dignity), and have done a bit of academic reading. Gave up on NaNoWriMo eventually. Have been feeling quite ill recently and am seeing a doctor tomorrow about it.
The idea that he will become the monster that some see him to be based on their actions towards him and the resulting low approval is interesting, isn't it? But I still don't want it to be a case of a beloved Inquisitor, whether friend or romance, being the Unique Special Snowflake that changes his mind. He really does need to do that for himself for it to matter, or at least, explain to us waaaay better why what he is doing is necessary.
Though now that I think of it, the whole redemption thing is strange. What exactly is it about? He screwed up by letting Corypheus have the orb, but that's kind of old news in the sight of tearing down the Veil. We can't "redeem" Solas for intending to tear down the Veil. Stop him or change his mind, providing there isn't a bigger nasty lurking somewhere that requires its destruction, sure... but...? The wording of "redeem Solas" is just odd to me these days.
This half-coherent ramble brought to you by not enough sleep and way too much coffee.
No actually you might be on to something here... Redeming seems wrong... um... Like the dream I had and wrote about x postes ago, about founding out a safer solution to tearing down the veil more safely would perhaps be a better way for Inky to save Solas.

Oh man. There are mods that replace the tattoo patterns with war paint. Now I really, really wish Solas's vallaslin removal didn't remove the option for tattoos altogether. I wouldn't give my Lavellan her vallaslin back. I'd give her some badass Avvar war paint to go with that armor.
I bought Pillars of Eternity at half price during a Steam Sale for my fantasy RPG fix but I'm seriously struggling to get into it. I forget how boring elves are in other franchises. Any pointers?

I've had the latest Justin Bieber song on repeat today. I keep waking up to it so I danced around this morning and then have just given in and been playing it. I never got my NaNo novel off the ground at all due to how I was feeling but I will revisit it at my own pace. Sometimes you just have to take care of you. *hug*

I haven't even completed Skyrim yet. I keep getting stuck and then give up, or start with a new PC. Some of the fights make me squirm due to the intense graphics, I really hate the giant rats! One day I will finish it though!

If you're interested in Elven lore, TES Bosmer have an intriguing backstory and lifestyle.
So yeah. Bosmer are little, jolly, hardcore elves. Just the right amount of dark for me.

I don't think it's Abelas! There are a bunch of sentinels dressed like that with a similar face to him, but I don't think it's him.

I don't think that's Abelas, he's running away from the Morri-bird, but I love hammer guy!
My all mage party is trying to dodge while dpsing the crap out of Samson and there he is smashing the floor tiles with his hammer.
