I'm enjoying the nice. There needs to be more nice. It's awesome to see, knowing Solas and all the messy baggage things from the game. Poor bastard needs happiness in one incarnation or another. I mean, sure, it's not much a story if there's no conflict, but Hallmark movies are popular for a reason too...

The veracity of what I've hypothesized may be questionable, but I really feel that if the Titans made war with the elves, that there would be a lot of very visible evidence even after 3500 years. The entirety of the Dales may have once been a battlefield! Don't forget about how Solas said, "Sometimes it seems this land is a collection of tragedies, one piled atop another." and that "The Exalted Plains have been soaked in too much unexalted blood."

There were possibly arenas (according to what I assume was an Elven guide):

 

The half-buried wall of arches made for a unique camping spot. My guide informed me that it was once part of an ancient elven arena, although nothing in the histories I read mentioned anything of the sort on the plains.

 

And Ghilan'nain's grove is like a necropolis to which Solas says "It's quiet here. I like it".

 

I want to know more about Solas and Ghilan'nain.

I've been spending so much time in this thread that I missed the latest FF7 remake news. Just watched the recent trailer. I love everything! I don't mind them going episodic as long as I get to explore all sections of Midgard. And they don't leave out anything from the original but expand on them. Can't wait to dress up Cloud!

Wow, that takes me back.  Sephiroth was my earliest video game crush.  But Solas, duh.  Dude can rock hobo and godlike attire.  Somehow I don't think Sephiroth would look half as good without all the black leather

And it's a really weird comparison, but definitely Solas. Sephiroth was never my thing. If we're talking about those characters in general,  Tifa.     Her Advent Children look, especially.
