Solas. I've never really been into the bishounen type, so Sephiroth never held a whole lot of appeal to me.
Now Roy Mustang, there's an anime crush I could get behind. But he probably wouldn't look as good if you cut all his hair off either.

I used to be into the bishie type when I was a teenager. In college "blonde and scruffy" became my new type, then Solas ruined the streak of blonde dudes in Dragon Age
Ahh bishies. I love bishies. Not as much as in my teens and tweens. It's why I got into Bleach. So many bishies! Although Kenshin Himura is still my fave anime character. Not just because he's a bishie but because I love the whole series. Love Rurouni Kenshin.
Solas remains my favorite video game character though. Before him, it was Cloud Strife.

I did just order an actual drawing tablet to go with my computer. So we'll see how everything goes!!! I think it comes with an art program of some kind, but we'll see if I like it or not. I'm pretty excited.

I've been spending so much time in this thread that I missed the latest FF7 remake news. Just watched the recent trailer. I love everything! I don't mind them going episodic as long as I get to explore all sections of Midgard. And they don't leave out anything from the original but expand on them. Can't wait to dress up Cloud!

I was wondering why I've been seeing a lot of FF7 remake on my Tumblr dash. I was a huge FF7 nut back in the day. I'm kinda interested to see how this remake will turn out.
And between Solas and Sephiroth, definitely Solas. 
(But if you asked me when I was 14 I'd probably pick Sephiroth. xD)

And it's a really weird comparison, but definitely Solas. Sephiroth was never my thing. If we're talking about those characters in general, Tifa.
Aerith was my girl. She's still my favorite FF character of all time. I wonder how they're gonna handle her death scene on the remake version? (Also, I definitely must have a thing for tragic characters/romances. 
)
When it comes to Tifa, while her original look is more iconic, I do prefer her Advent Children look.
And speaking of Aerith, I've shared this before but I really love that needapotion drew Aerith and Solas together in this picture (she said they're her favorite characters ever, which makes me happy 
).

I used to be into the bishie types as well, but as I grew older, I sort of became tired of it. In terms of looks, Solas was definitely someone I never thought I'd find attractive, but then here I am now.

I'll admit, I didn't really appreciate Tifa until Advent Children came out. ^__^;
(Tala's Trespasser hairdo may have been modeled a bit after AC!Tifa and Rinoa from FF8. I really should draw more Trespasser!Tala.)
DAI is boring me, yet I have a desire to play Skryim.... (: What is wrong with me? I've gotten bored of one world explorer to go to another. It's gonna get unistalled of my computer (DAI is), for Skyrim. *Sighs* I really do like Solas and all, but I want to my favorite progie, the Dragonborn. I love the Dragonborn, they're first on my list of favorites, I feel like I can do anything as the Dragonborn.... Then the HOF is next, then the Quiz then at the end of time, is Hawke.
I'm replaying Skyrim atm. It feels good to go back to something fairly relaxed... and I really needed the emotional reset after Trespasser too. (Forgive me, Solas thread, for my weakness!).

homg Bleach was my fandom life from about 2005 to 2009 I was in grad school and super depressed living away from home so of course I had to write a RenBya (with a side of IchiRuki) grad school AU. Then I wrote more RenBya (IchiRuki) and more and more and more 
Then for whatever reason I stopped reading the manga (I think I'd finally gotten caught up with it) and that's about when LiveJournal started dying, too, which was the center of Bleach fandoms... ahh memories...
Regarding bishies, I don't think I was ever attracted to one in a physical sense but I've always loved them and still do... but also not all anime characters are bishies per se; take Katakura Koujuurou from Sengoku Basara
As for Solas, it's not like "I" ever found him physically attractive but more that my Lavellan did. It's like... I loved him through the eyes and heart of my character. Sigh... Coming to this thread reminds me that I'm still not really over Trespasser and my broken-hearted one-armed little archer.

AC!Tifa is probably my favorite version of Tifa. I wasn't really too fond of her original FF7 version.

And yes, The Great Warrior track is beautiful. I must say, FF7 was actually the first video game that made me cry. Mainly because of Aerith's death since she's my favorite as I've mentioned earlier.
Though Solas is the first video game character to make me hellspiral one year after I've ended the game. Everything about him gives me feels.
(Also, by this Saturday, I'll be picking up my Game of the Year edition of DAI from my brother-in-law's sister so yay! More reason for me to cry!)

Bleach. Bleach and FMA were the only fanfics I could really get into writing, before and after I just didn't have the inspiration. (and my favorite was always RenBya )

My thoughts went to the Mulan training scene but Airbending is even better.
As for Bishounen, I absolutely went through that phase... I am still all about silvery hair and ..Ok I guess I still like them. I'm just not as adamant about it as I used to be. This thing with Solas is still a shock to me!
Darien/Tuxedo Mask was probably my first real anime crush. Then I went on to love so....so many others. 
Sephiroth is attractive but I didn't really feel connected to any FF7 characters except maybe Cid and RedXIII. (And the Turks.)
FFIX though.. Zidane is a really awesome character. Adorable thief! It was less weird to have a crush on him when I was younger than 16, but I still love his character so much. Also, my first video game crush was undoubtedly Link. I started with imaginary crushes at really young age.
