Nah, I think Solas would more likely be Ravenclaw.
I never made a character actually capable of killing Solas.
My Lavellan has the ruthlessness but loves him too much be able to do it.
My Trevelyan is a noble knight who would think it's dishonorable to betray her friend like this when what he clearly needs is help.
Meh, my Male Lavellan is a bit of a dushbag anyhow.
My Canon Treveylan is a nice lady who is friends with Solas, and want's to redmeen him.
Nah, I think Solas would more likely be Ravenclaw.
Agreed, and I would not see Bull as a Hufflepuff. More a Gryffindor.
I just thought of a very cruel thing that would be also in a way awesome:
How heartbreaking it would be if we would actually play our Inquisitor in DA4 and have a romanced Lavellan who decided to save him be forced to have to kill him at some point. Like we messed up some things ingame and there is no way to convince him any longer but for some reason he is at our mercy and we can stop him but only by killing him, like from up close, with a dagger or something....
... also, there would be a timer and there would only be 20 seconds to decide to do it because after that he will get his strength back. And the game doesn't let you pause.
I should probably not make games, it would hurt too much...
Dunno about the timer, but I see no reason why the shouldn't give us an option to mess up the redemption path - in fact, I'm counting on it. If Leliana can't be swayed from killing Natalie after we pick choices that make her more ruthless in the game (and she has an arc similar in many ways to Solas'), I see no reason why we wouldn't be able to do that to Solas - though I assume choices from DAI will also factor in here.
Hmmm... I wonder if saving Wisdom will play any role at all in DA4. In fact I wonder which choices will actually matter?
Choosing to redeem or stop at all costs - well, obviously.
Drinking from the Well or not - that too, though dunno how.
Saving Abelas and Sentinels - I have a feeling that they'd make an appearance (probably with Replacement Elf for Abelas if killed and Abelas is not killed), though whether it'd be something negative or positive for Inquisition, we're yet to see.
Who is Divine - indirectly perhaps, but yes.
Telling Cassandra to reform Seekers... I have a feeling that it's important, due to entire Tranquility ritual and bonding with spirits of Faith.
Disbanding or Keeping Inquisition - it will matter, but I assume that we'd be able to mitigate either the limited resources or infiltration via choices in DA4.
Banishing or keeping the Wardens - no frikking clue. But I assume that this decision will be influenced by who we leave in the Fade.
Finishing Descent - given that Descent has only one tile, I assume that whatever contact we'd make with Titans or Valta will be influenced by that.
Nah, I think Solas would more likely be Ravenclaw.
Confirmed by Weekes, actually -> https://twitter.com/...102188251549696

Sera for Hufflepuff maybe? Viv in Slytherin? I don't think any of the companions would fit Slytherin but maybe she would be the closest.
How do you ever play anything competitive?
There's a reason why most of my games have a pause function ![]()
But for games without one, I exile him to the co-pilot chair. He's so spoiled that he has his own chair next to our computer desk. He's ok with that for a while, then he comes back, sits on my arm, and starts meowing for attention again ![]()
Vivienne, yes. She's intelligent, capable, but also very self-motivated. I think Sera also Gryffindor? Cole I'd put in Hufflepuff though.
Hmmm... I wonder if saving Wisdom will play any role at all in DA4. In fact I wonder which choices will actually matter?
It will probably be 2-3 choices at most. Tuchanka's potential conclusion was determined by 3 choices across the games: who led the krogan, whether Eve survived, and what Shep did in ME3. I'd guess the choices that matter are quizzy's decision at the end of Trespasser, something to do with the Temple of Mythal (Well, sentinels), and a yet-to-be-determined choice in DA4.
I have to admit, I wouldn't like it as much if the outcome for Solas is entirely dependent on what we did in Inquisition and Trespasser. We might be playing a new protagonist, with or without playable quizzy. I'd like DA4 to feel like its choices matter too.

My cat Tigger (he died in 2012
) would always sit on my keyboard tray using my arm as a neck pillow. It made using my mouse difficult. And he was a huuuuuuuge cat. A lot of people thought he was a Maine C-oon (lol censored) because he shared so many similarities to them. I have all but inherited my sister's cat Sadie (she's been stuck living in no pets allowed places the last few years) and last year she started doing the same thing! She's a tiny cat though. Total opposite of Tigger. She's tall for a cat her size, but she's so small her head is not much bigger than a kitten's. I think she weighs only 7lbs. Very muscular and lean cat, she is heavier than she looks. But she always picks the worst times to cuddle! Sometimes she likes to sit in the tiny space between my mouse and KB and watch me play. It's pretty cute. She also thinks the mic on my headset is her personal chin scratcher!

This sounds about right. Boyfriend has a chair next to his chair/desk for the cat. When she's not on his arm or in his lap.

Oh, there's no doubt in my mind that we will have additional or no less crucial choices in DA4 to determine crucial things in it, simply because - even though DA4 will be a fourth chapter in the series and aside from agency issues - it will still likely be played by many people who didn't play DAI, or the rest, so even with a favorable world-state there would be too many things left depending on a game they didn't play.
I do think however that choices from previous games may or may not make things easier... or difficult, depending on the world-state.. Though I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of arc for Solas or overrarching story in general there would be an entire string of very specific past choices that unlocks some sort of 'secret ending' or something ;D
*sighs* I just can not defeat the Guardian in Descent. I brought Solas, Varric and Cassandra. Of course when I try to change party members the game freezes on me because of the mods and right now mod manager isn't working for me. Grrrr!

My cat uses my hand as a pillow as well - she really likes having something to support it, and when she sits on me, it's usually my hand
It's mostly my left one, due to the way I sit. It doesn't restrict moving my mouse, but depending where she lies her head (my palm or forearm) using keyboard or drawing on my tablet isn't really doable.
As for picking the worst time to cuddle... my cat seems to have one of the worst timings - a lot of time when she sits of me, either I rally, really have to run to the bathroom, grow really hungry or there's a doorbell, or just something I have to get up from my chair to do
She's grumpy when it happens, but she learned to wait for me - when I finish doing stuff I need, she's usually ready to jump on my lap again.
My cat likes to sit right between my boyfriend and I on our desk. Which means he immobilizes my right arm, and my boyfriend's left. Then he just sits there and purrs, the most self-satisfied creature on earth ![]()
If it's chilly, sometimes he sits on the router instead since it's nice and warm.

Sadie sits on my cable box during the winter because it's so warm. Usually when I am watching something, so her head obscures the bottom right corner of the screen lol. Cats! They can be little a-holes at times, but I think that's what I love the most about them.

So, basically... they're like Solas? ![]()
Yeah, Solas is definitely more Ravenclaw than Slytherin. ![]()
I'm not sure any character in DA:I fit Huffelpuff, but I think if I have to pick one it would be Varric - he is friendly and loyal, although he does fail hard with regards to honesty. ![]()
Come to think of it, if we count all the companions of DA, I think Merrill is the one best suited for Huffelpuff. ![]()
So if I would pick one companion from the whole franchise for each I think it would be:
Gryffindor: Alistair (Cullen if he had been a companion)
Ravenclaw: Solas
Huffelpuff: Merrill
Slytherin: Vivienne

I don't remember what it's about - all I know is that when I hear "Hufflepuff" I imagine that their mascot's gotta be a puffer fish:
