I picked up Sims 4 for some Solavellan cuteness. Though I am disappointed by the lack of cute elf toddlers
I'm sure there are plenty of players who miss having to potty train and teach them to walk and talk, but I always ended up aging them straight to kids in Sims2 with a mod. So many mods. I think I'm going to try to build an Orlesian mansion for my Lavellan - I have a self-indugent headcanon about Celene giving her Chateau D'Onterre, because no one wants it due to the hauntings.

It's not so much that I like toddler gameplay; I think it was a bit hit-or-miss to be honest. It's mostly that I want to see Solas and Lavellan teaching an adorable ginger elf toddler to walk

Depends how thorough a playthrough is. I tend to do all the things, get all the shards, gears, etc, do all the quests. So it can take awhile for just one.

I'm with you on the BlackWallSolaceBeard. It's just too, too, too much beard. Too much. Holy cats. Make it stop. Although I did laugh out loud.
Meanwhile, I've been posting on my FF, "The Distant Wave," and just put up chapters 2 and 3. Chapter 2 (Cole's Lullaby) is what I hope is a lovely interlude as my Lavellan ends up helping Cole to find sleep.
Chapter 3 is "Wine and Teacups," and I am happy to report that despite this being originally a Bullmance, this is a pretty big and extensive Lavellan/Solas confrontation that addresses the fact that the two are utterly at odds and yet completely hot for each other. Basically. So: Yes. Solavellan kissage.

The funny thing about these is how much you appreciate the original designs. And the artists/devs' vision for how each character should look. For a character's look to fit them.

Sorry for starting a discussion and disappearing again - for one reason or another I haven't been feeling well lately. Winter is sadly the season where all my bigger or smaller ailments tend to attack me with renewed force and have a chance to rob me entirely of will to do anything... which is not really fun, when there's entire house to clean for holidays
