Well you are lucky. I wish I had IRL friends I could obsess about DA with too xD

Unfortunately the only ones I know that share somewhat my interest are my brother and his gf but they are far away and they hate Solas >.>

I need to find me some DA event I can go to as well :-(

 

I have some friends that have played DA and liked it, but most of them aren't nearly as obsessed as I am - most of them don't know enough lore for the deep discussions, and others are rarely "in the mood" for such a discussion. However, I recently made a new acquaintance who also loves DA and when we started to talk about it the others joined in. I have some hope that this will not be a one-time thing.

So I've finally been dumped by Solas and now when I go click on him and he says "Inquisitor", I have a strong urge to kick him in the shins.

I feel your pain. The first time it happened to me every time I'd go through that little study of his I'd run though saying, "not talking to you, not talking to you... Jerk T-T"

P.s. If you haven't tried the angry "I don't even know why I bothered" option from your Quizzy you should. His response made my heart hurt. The feels are strong with this one.

After watching Youtube, I see that I picked the most boring breakup choices possible so later today I'm going all the way back to the beginning of the Temple of M (since I did a lousy job of making plenty of saves) so I can pick breakup choices with more dialogue. I had my IQ acting too cool about the entire thing.

That is one thing that annoys me a bit about the dialogue option set-up.  There have been times where I selected something and it came out hostile or completely different than how I had meant my character to be.

Every time I see artwork like the sexy one (super yum btw) or I have Solas in that Avvar armor that shows his stomach muscles I wonder how he stays so buff.  Is it just that using magic actually takes muscle strength or does he work out between studying at Skyhold?  If the second option that could be fun little side banter of the Inquisitor walking in on him or a yummy opening for a bit of fluff smut .

BTW this may sound laughable but I've been wanting to try my hand on... er... writing. Any tips on where I could start? The last time I wrote fanfiction was when I was around 15 or 16 and I haven't written anything since then.

It can be scary to post online at first but totally worth it. You can always have someone look it over and give advice and reassurance before you're ready to post. And definitely come and holler on the smut thread if you need support. We can be *very* enabling

I thought for sure if I wrote it for me that would be enough, then my son wanted to read it so I put it on Fan Fic and it has grown since then.

Alright thanks to the awesome Blanketfort writers group and their enabling I am dumping a link to my first fanfic from AO3.

So far I have two of the main story line, two of the main story from Solas' POV, and two random short banter like tidbits.

 

I'll drop the future links on here as I make them.  Eventually there will be smut but it is kind of a slower build up since it mostly follows the game with me adding, taking away, and adjusting things.  I'm thinking I will continue it after the events of Trespasser but that'll probably be a long ways off.  Anyways, feedback is super appreciated!

Hmmm... Been through Trespasser ending with one of my Trevelyans to send the full playthrough to my Keep and I've noticed something about epilogue with human Cole - that he went with Maryden to find a new life and a new way to be human.

 

A new way to be human... I wonder if that'd be important later.
