That's so cute. We wouldn't necessarily be First depending on our class, but if Solas dreamed a memory of us in a place we had been, that would be sweet.

 

 

OH. I thought that song was a Lana Del Rey original   But to my defense, it's been 20 years since I saw The Sleeping Beauty and I have no memory of the songs in it. I was more of a Snow White girl tbh.

 

Anyway, I'm loving this dream theory! I'm really confident that Solas' race-gating has something to do with the Lavellan clan; which would mean he's not actually race-gated, just that his romance requires a Lavellan-specific event to happen. (And now I'm just parroting what others have said. But I really, really like this idea!)

If it means we get to see more of the Lavellan clan, then I am all for it helping the Solas romance. XD but on an unrelated note, I reall hope we get Inquisitor specific personal quests...time to personally rupture our characters!

I still love Mass Effect though. Questionable ending aside, it's very much worth playing through because it is a great set of games.

 

 

 

I want to add that playing Mass Effect is worth it, despite the ending. You should give it a try. Yes, the ending is frustrating, but that's because the rest of it is mostly fantastic. 

 

 

Okay, you've convinced me.  I'll give it a go.  I suppose it's at least good I won't be surprised at how frustrating the ending is, so there's that.

 

And after listening to you all, yep, I think Shepard wins on the bad flirting by a mile!

Ah, I'm a little late, but I recall some old tweets from Mr. Weekes referring to iambic pentameter.

 

Shakespeare had characters who were noble, refined or educated, speak in this style (while commoners, for example, spoke in normal prose).

 

It would be pretty symbolic if Solas spoke in iambic pentameter. For example, Caliban, a half-demon slave, speaks in iambic pentameter which is all kinds of interesting because you would expect prose from his social class. It would be like a hobo walking up to you and speaking like a king.
