I think I'm the only person here who isn't into the ancient elf theory.  Based on The Masked Empire, I'm probably going to have to deal with it but immortality isn't something I'm fond of seeing in fiction.  Especially if it's portrayed as part of a Utopian society.  Immortality actually kind of horrifies me.

It's totally cool not to be fond of the idea. Actually, were it regular old elven immortality it'd probably bore me. I like DA's version, though, because it's... almost conditional, I guess? Not infallible, at least. And it's not like I'm convinced or anything... Hell, I have no idea what to expect out of this guy anymore. He's thrown me for one too many loops and I'm just not even going to try anymore.   So just kicking stuff around. I do happen to think this one would be pretty interesting, but hey... What about him isn't intriguing at this point? When I get my hands on him in 78 days, I am going to be poking and prodding from every angle to no end!

 

I need to read TME again. Not that I mind, I enjoyed the first time, but now I wonder just how much of the lore revealed there will wind up coming into play. Missed the part where some elves could keep themselves alive through a connection with the Fade... That does sound like something a certain elf we know could figure out how to use... or has already used...

 

And I need to read it... at all.  It's just sitting there on my desk, all this time...

Maybe Solas will motivate me to actually make time for it... Hmm...

Maybe in an hour or so when I'll have some quiet...

And if you're interested in elven lore at all, you'll love TME. It's a great book, anyway (though I did find it slow to start, but it picks up around chapter 5 or so, at which point I couldn't put it down). And Felassen is such a great character. I bet you're going to love him!

...O-oh. OH. Umm... Oops, heheh.   Welp. You can tell I'm one of those ace types that doesn't really understand the concept of the physical stuff, huh? 

 

But gosh, elven lore is actually my favorite. I honestly did not expect it to feature in a story about Orlais at all, but then everyone was talking about it and I was like... really??? I keep meaning to read it but I always get caught up doing doing something else... That's good to hear, though. The whole "Game" thing at the start probably didn't help hold my attention. Orlesians. [Aveline eyeroll]

I think as far as I got was when Felassen was first introduced... and he was the first character to catch my attention, hahah. I was interested in Briala, but you know, again... Game shenanigans.

 

But THAT SETTLES IT, then. I've got the house to myself soon... I think I'll feel the cats, make myself dinner, and then actually sit down with it. I'm finding it hard to concentrate on playing Origins, anyway. Can't... stop... thinking... about... INQUISITION. [strange gurgling noises]

Nah, it's never been a popular theory as far as I can tell.  I've always felt like the local weirdo with my wild theories around here. 

It's just how I have fun.  And it gives me something to talk about since I can't get as invested in the romance talk anymore.  Solas has always been a fascinating character regardless of that though.

Yes! It's honestly the only good character creator I seem to have access to. I have a lot of video games to choose from, plus I have that Sims 4 demo, but DD just seems to hit the nail on the head (most of the time). 

 

Yeah, I love the Dragon's Dogma CC, it's kinda boggling how awesome it is.
