BABYYYYYY SO CUTE! It's funny because I generally don't like children, but Solas just looks like he'd be a great dad... And it's so cute to think of them being a family in the woods with their own little log cabin and garden out front or something. =7=

And Feyla! Watch out though... Some of the things Patrick wrote about the Dalish are.... Super gross so I had to make myself think they are a minority to not be disgusted with their representation in that book... As much as I liked the rest of it.

Yeah, it's hard to see the clan in TME in anything other than a "WTF?" light after the admittedly limited exposure we had to the Dalish in the games. I just figure it makes sense for some clans to be that way, and for others to be more open and welcoming. It was still a surprise the first time reading the book because even if they were more insular it just seemed so suddenly out there. Still a good read.

Okay, so silly brain was working on silly things last night and it came up with some really weird stuff.  Haven't watched much Disney in awhile, but I can do country and 80's rock.  Last night it was country.

Me too!  I don't really like face tattoos on characters, but I keep watching the Enemy of Thedas video and just adore the vallaslin on this guy at :36 so I hope we get some beautiful options like that

I really liked the way no-one in TME comes of as sympathetic.  It gave a real Song of Ice and Fire vibe to the book.

Glad to see the thread is back in good spirits!

 

Thought I'd share with y'all that I had a dream about Solas last night. I actually have a bad cold, and I dreamed that he sat with me and we talked about all sorts of things. He was the biggest nerd whom got excited about Shakespeare and history and I loved every minute of it. XD

But remember, all we have to go on with these companions are their pictures and a brief blurb about them. It's quite likely you would find someone else in the companion pool to romance, and even if not, the friendship arcs are likely to be good and the game for sure will be awesome. Romance in game is fun, but it's not all the game is about.

I can't play a female Inquisitor, i feel uncomfortable with playing a female character.
So i play male all the time.
Because i am homosexual my character also is, because the last time i tried out a het thing in origins, i felt uncomfortable too.
So.
Iron Bull or Dorian.
Iron Bull isn't a choice, i don't like him as a romance option.
Dorian? Yeahhhh, kind of....
Oh, really, i ever romance elven guys... why can't i have one in this game?
There wasn't a het elf in a bioware Game...
i am so sad! I mean.. why?
They also changed Iron Bull for the fans and so many fans where waiting and hoping for Solas.
And our dreams all are shattered by Bioware.. I feel totally left out.

Aww, that's so sweet   I had a dream a few nights ago that I was talking to Solas on Steam and my husband got jealous so I had to unfriend him Didn't get a chance to see what games he had in his library, too bad

Maybe when you play the game you'll find you love Dorian or Bull (or both!).  Or you'll find Solas so compelling you think he's worth rolling a Lady Lavellan for.
