So... if he is a romance (pleaseohplease) what do you all think that would look like?  I could see it being a bit similar to the Garrus romance in ME... where you approach him and he's surprised at your interest.  it would be nice to have something like that... where it's based on friendship and mutual respect.  It could see it being pretty drama-free, since he seems like a low-key type of person.  It would be a nice change of pace, anyway.

I agree with this guess! At first he's surprised and a little bit awkward because he's the lonery type and not used to that kind of attention or interaction, but it's endearing, and the whole thing is based on friendship, camaraderie and mutual respect

ok. just...read it all. wow, how many pages...

 

There is still the "food thing" to look at. maybe his isolation has made him a little..."spicy"? as Allan teased, he may be an introverted, but instead of the hawkard type, he can be the irritable kind. (Sheldon from big bang theory style?)

 

I really like from the interview that he doesn't seem fixated on the elven situation, he isn't ashamed of being one, but like to be seen not only as an elf. (this had me like love him one hundred time more)

 

He "dream in the fade". can still be up the speculation about finding him in the fade early in the game, an than meet him again? (if I have read right, he came to the Inquisition.

 

I'm going to make him put shoes ASAP. first thing first after I have him in my team. U_U

Thank god for the redesign. I like him in the picture with his staff glowing. His face looks angular.

For me, I just couldn't see past the Nicholas cage/Nosferatu match up that he was before. Made him extra creepy. This way I can stand to look at him and might even have him in my party.

*deepbreath* Alright, so now  that I'm done fangirling for the moment, something from his interview struck me as really interesting.  Apparently there's a strong relationship between your emotions regarding the Fade, and what you experience there.  Never thought of that before, but it makes sense, if you think of the Fade as being like your subconscious (except a more collective version) - where if you go in feeling afraid, you're more likely to see demons and other horrible things.  But if you go in with an open mind, with the idea you might see something amazing, you will.  

 

I just love that!  I tend to think that the Chantry is largely full of crap, and that the culture of fear they like to spread is the reason that so little is known about the Fade and spirits and demons.  Personally, I find the concept of the Fade and all that is in it one of the most fascinating aspects of DA lore, and it looks like between Solas and Cole and our Glowy Hand we might learn a lot more about it.

I think for several people the link isn't working - it's most likely that it's a bit wonky at the minute is all, perhaps due to US/UK versions of the site or something.

btw I read one of Patrick's tweets saying that he enjoyed talking to Solas. What do you think that means?
