I'm chuckling over how his butt sticks out here.
Cullen is a great LI because he's got a hot front, but he has no butt haha. Solas' back is where it's at!
I suspect that Solas subconsciously throws his butt out whenever he wants to speak with emphasis.
While the butt-flap serves as an exclamation point.

My Lavellan's got a little snerk and fire. I headcanon that she had some marriage arrangement gone wrong because she was his "casual dalliance". She's been betrayed before. Makes the tears that much more delicious.
I also find it funny how she told him, "so I can call you a coldhearted son of a b*tch". Oh Lavellan, you don't even know...LOL
My roommate just started playing DAI after a year of me gushing about it. He asked which race would be best to play to get the most out of the storyline. Me: *cracks knuckles* "Let me tell you!" I tried to be impartial and answer pretty honestly--either human since the game was written with a human protagonist in mind and the first half of the game is all about human religion stuff, but also elves because of the story significance and revelations in the second half of the game. Since he tends to like playing mages in other games and especially the Adept from Mass Effect, couldn't help recommending that class. And since he wanted to know what would get the MOST out of the experience, I couldn't help steering him toward a female elf who romances a certain male elven companion...

So far it's been pretty basic. He had the same trouble with auto-attack that I did (kept pressing R or Left Click and getting frustrated that it didn't work, till I told him to hold down), and is enjoying the Chain Lightning spell. He was a little freaked out that everything keeps attacking him and as a mage he's defenseless, but now that he's figured out autoattack and enjoys Chain Lightning, he's making plans to use Winter to freeze enemies and then Chain Lightning them, then work toward Lightning Cage.
Only downside is I think he's more into the strategy and combat aspect of games rather than characters and story like I do (whenever we talk about games he usually talks about the combat while I talk about the characters), so I'm not sure it'll be as we hoped. I also don't even know at this point if he'll even like Solas as a character (I know my beau doesn't), so yeah...
Will you tell him about the blanketfort too, after he's finished?
Haha, if it comes to that, sure.
Sadly, I don't think he tends to get as invested in characters or romances that I do, so we'll see.
