I wasn't going to jump the gun and season your hat for you the way dawnstone did because if they *didn't* talk about the next DA game I'm sure you'd expect me to eat the hat instead.  =p

Even if they don't tease the next game or announce that it's been greenlit, there are a few other things DA related that they could feasibly talk about, just to maintain interest in the brand/IP. I know people have mentioned that fans have been requesting that they make DA:O & DA2 accessible on newer consoles, also there's the comic which will likely have a trade release soon, and one can hope that there is another novel in the works to lead into the next game. All sorts of possibilities for tie-ins and such even if they avoid stealing the limelight from Andromeda (despite the fact that there have to be fans like me who have no interest in a sci-fi game, so they might as well be talking about nothing for all I care).

I hope they aren't worried about stealing the limelight from MEA.  I mean, for one, the next DA game wouldn't be released for awhile after MEA no matter what and for another, whilst there is some overlap, the fanbases are kind of different.  Personally I love the ME series and the DA series both although given ME3's ending and the lack of info about MEA I'm not all that hyped about Andromeda atm.

I've heard the theory that the flame-wolf-tower icon that came out a while back might be teasing that Dragon Age Tactics game Darrah talked about.

 

They might announce that, if that's the case. It would probably be small enough to not take too much attention from Andromeda.

Does anyone else but me get really excited over how similar Solas is to Hohenhiem from Fullmetal Alchemist?

They're both immortal.

 

They both have physical differences that set them apart from modern people (Solas is taller than modern elves, Hohenhiem has the Xerxesian golden eyes and hair)

 

They're both accidently responsible for the destruction of their people.

 

They both fall in love with a mortal woman but have to leave her for Reasons.

 

They both look like 40 year old nerds.

 

There's probably more, too.

To be fair, I would say the elves weren't destroyed ... they were changed.  Solas is accidentally responsible for the destruction of the elven empire though.

Now, as article has mentioned, Darrah is a GIANT troll, so he could as well be trolling - though re-tweeting an article which basically states "oy!
