Another Gamescom video! It's frustrating because around the 3 minute mark the player is looking through abilities and if it wasn't for a slightly see-through black screen, we would have been able to perfectly see everyone's faces including Solas's. I can still kind of see it, though, and he looks good as usual!

I'm going to have my first run, aka the test run, as a Solasmance mage...

Then my second run, aka the canon run, who will-- if I like it the first time-- also be a Solasmance mage...

And then my third run I've planned for Sera... I was thinking a Trevelyan because I want to play with that backstory... but Sera/Lavellan stuff is SO CUTE... so I may very well end up with a third elf...

I kind of sort of hate kissing (I'm a huge germaphobe and freak OUT about bodily fluids...  eurgh [shudder]) but I love this anyway.

As a straight male, I'm looking forward to the Solas romance. His character is very interesting. As much as I love the Iron Bull, I doubt his romance will be that deep. 

 

Glad to hear it! I can't wait to see what it's like myself. I hope it's something we can all enjoy. 

(I wouldn't count Bull out just yet, btw. It'll probably start out pretty casual but knowing Patrick and considering the mentions PTSD and potential crisis of faith, I suspect that romance might get surprisingly intense...)

force field is awesome and barrier being health is pretty odd. They need to release info on the new specs, rift and necromancer, i'm dying to find out what spells they'll have

Maybe he just has a resting ****** (damn filter!) face?    I'd like to see him with a more neutral or even positive expression, but maybe that'll be part of the reward for following his friendship/romance arcs.

I made a terrible looking Solas is The Sims 3.  He keeps failing to cast Convesion Ritual and his one attempt at casting a Good Luck Charm backfired and cursed him with bad luck.  I hope this isn't foreshadowing that Solas is a terrible mage.
