I'm actually kinda surprised they originally wanted to go with only two burly warriors for straight females

Yeah, I don't think he recorded since around that tweet. Definitely much earlier. The extra development time that they got was one entire year, not the extra month or so. Definitely a lot earlier.

Bisexual females get 6 potential romances which is kind of insane (my bi self is not complaining tho lol)

whoa! After all the semi insults in ME3 (I was more bummed for all the tease at the expense of FemShep than her romances cut out without even doing something to stop the bleeding...like Javik and James in Citadel for example.) more romances for a female straight character was the last thing I was expecting 

 

But I'm quite sad for all the others orientations...

Wait...Wait. So my sweet innocent little elf will have the possibility of being lusted after by 6 of the 8 romance choices!?
The poor girl won't know what's hit her. She won't be very innocent by the end, thats for sure.

Now I really hope Solas is the first mage you meet so I can latch on fast

The romance thread isn't that bad. There's a lot of disappointment but nothing incredibly scandalous. Though I have a very high tolerance when it comes to ridiculousness on the internet so maybe I'm not a good person to trust on that opinion. I never thought any of the previous romance threads were all that terrible either even though they seemed to intimidate a lot of people.

 

And I have to quash the urge to Tweet people and ask if they like Solas's romance.    Give me a little somethin' somethin' to get excited about!

Wow, I...have no idea what to think about the Blackwall announcement. And the fact that both Solas AND Cullen were added later? I just hope to Andraste that the 'limited in scope' thing just relates to the race gates and doesn't mean their romances are lesser. I can't believe they were originally going to give the straight female players two beefy warriors and that's all (Blackwall and IB).

And for some reason, the fact that Blackwall is straight really, REALLY depresses me. I'm not interested in romancing him myself, but I know a lot of players were banking on him being at least bi and after Solas this. just. sucks :'(

Ugh, seeing all the romances listed like that has really got me down for some reason. I need to try and get my excitement for the game back, but the overwhelming straightness is kinda disappointing.

I guess I should have been a little clearer. I knew there was another delay before the most recent one. I just didn't know if the VAs had knowledge that the romances were being added due to the extra time that wouldn't have been there, otherwise.

 

Now, I am much much more appreciative of the setbacks (a world with no Solas romance? Bah!) Still doesn't change the fact I am impatient, though.
