You are telling me stuff that I've already know. But Greece is still Johnny-came-late that they created their gods from aspects from the Egyptian pantheon.

What? just.. .What? Their soooo different, I don't even know how you got to this conclusion in the first place.

Then how am I wrong besides the sources are based on books by anthropologists and historians and the books such as Stolen Legacy and They Came Before Columbus? You can always find things out for yourself, and if you believe that I'm wrong then prove me wrong.

Actually the ONE book you gave before was the Stolen Legacy, and I've already outlined problems with it. I have the similar reservations about the other book as well. While the link in last post is a hypothesis (you yourself pointed out) made by some random Internet website, which uses several quotations from highly questionable sources ("The Triumph Of African Civilization Over Aryan Barbarism (publication pending)"? ...Wut??)

Yeah, I know it was a horrible source I used - but there wasn't a really good one though, all the sources were shite but i wasn't interested in writing a essay though.

Unless we're comparing either to the Elven pantheon, this isn't really relevant to discussion about Solas.

Besides, there is no concrete proof that the Greeks based their pantheon on Egypt, as the two cultures and what they represented are vastly different. Unless you can provide anything beyond fringe theories that are not accepted by the mainstream, then that's hardly evidence.

Going back to the subject of Blight magic, it's interesting that Solas never answers Blackwall when he asks what the solution to the Blight is that doesn't involve Wardens or killing the Archdemon. What is a better solution?

Greek and Egyptian gods have nothing on the Norse Pantheon.
Wait a minute, is this the theological debate thread?

Wow, look, there is already a thread discussing possible links between the elves and the Egyptian pantheon: https://forum.biowar...ptian-pantheon/

Here is a thought, a novel one I grant you: those interested in continuing discussing a possible or impossible connection between elves and Egyptian gods can continue posting there. I mean, it would be a shame for a perfectly good thread to go to waste! Meanwhile, all the people interested in the important art of Solas' butt-pics can remain here.

Right, the important topic here. I saw someone complain that they thought his Trespasser thighs were ridiculous. And then I was like, wait. I live in a town that's famous for bicycling culture and I see a lot of professional bicyclists around me all the time - and I used to think their thighs were weird/ridiculous/unattractive.

Trespasser changed all that. It changed my perspective definitely. I approve. Highly.

But it does make sense that it was them who've invaded Ancient Sumeria if it isn't true then why most anthropologists and historians ate coming to the same conclusion. And it does follow the pattern of how great civilizations fell take for example of the Aryans invaded Northern India and it explains why Hinduism have a caste system of light vs dark(the Untouchables) Indian people, The invasion of Egypt and North and Eastern Africa by the Middle East, and lastly the British, Portuguese, French, and Dutch invaded all nations around Africa during 1500's through 1800's. Even in Dragon Age matches of great civilizations created by elves were invaded and conquered by humans after the fall of Arlathan, and become slaves to the Imperium. And stole all knowledge of their magic, culture, and artifacts for their own gain and rewrite history.

Also am I the only one who gets a bit of a chill that Blackwall's question goes unanswered? If there is anyone we know that would have an answer to stop the Blight, it's Solas. What if...he doesn't know?

So you think it's all a big coincidence that the writers just stumble across to write about a game that is based on ancient history and rise and fall of civilizations? Come on its pretty obvious that one of the writers studied history, and current issues of the real world today.
