Contingency plans are always good tho. If you don't have a backup plan you go to sleep and wake up thousands of years later and everythins goin to **** lol

 

It's nice that everyone (I think?) so far seems alright or happy with RDF. ^^ I'll hold off on makin Blanketfort II for now (early days yet) but certainly nothing wrong with folk going ahead and joining in on the wider site   even if we don't end up going there it looks like a lovely nice site don't let me hold you back.

Yeah I won't post there yet (or I might if I see something that I want to discuss. It looks all so friendly!). It's there for when the big purge happens and 3 days after my bday too... aww man!

I created my account on RDF and I have been checking out the settings choices available, and it's extremely interesting

Custom emojis, changing username (I forgot the capital letter while registering yes), and other useful stuff

One has to know some bbcode (the same used here) but once you get passed this point you're alright

And likes exist too

Well, this is very dissapointing for me. I'm not comfortable using twitter or facebook, and I would very much want to have a forums not only for Solas but the whole Dragon Age and Mass Effect (and maybe the New IP).
Now I have nowhere to go. ;/

 

Also it's sad that such wonderful thread will cease to exist. I don't understand this decision at all.

Me too! I swear I put a capital E but it reverted to a small one lol so I fixed it

There is also talk about the BSN making our own new forum. https://forum.biowar...ommunityforums/ Looks like it may have legs. And RDF looks like a great alternative, but its focused on DA. This would be all bioware games. 

 

Personally, I can be a member of both sites. Just saying. lol

Realdragonagefans is a forum about dragon age , but there's some off topic section and ME stuff."

It is an injustice, and if they don't log in in another 2 weeks the name goes back into availability! We aren't catering to placeholders who sign up but aren't active.

Just got home .... wtf?!

 

There has been only one forum (and specifically this thread) I've consistently visited for the past few years ... this one.  I'll go to the forums of other games I'm currently playing but always stop visiting ... but this one has remained constant.  Since DAO, through ME1, ME2, ME3, DA2, DAI ... this has been the best place to find people to talk to about the games.

 

I don't like the reddit format, I loathe Twitter (it's worse than reddit) and I barely recall that I even have a Facebook account much less the stupid password for it.

 

This sucks.  ><
