Itty bitty bit late to the party (I just had to see that post about LIs 5mins before I had to go to bed. XD).
Holy crapcakes. Now I'm glad/relieved that they had that extra year of development, else all my Inquisitors would have been foreveralone (unless I decided to roll a qunari and romanced Bull, anyway). I only play straight females (because I'm boring and play 'me' in games) and the two 'main' LIs for females are just...not my type. Bull's always been a 'maybe', but Blackwall...eh. To old, hairy, and Warden-y for me (i.e. too close to his calling; we've already had one romance where the guy dies at the end, which is why I never romanced Thane). My view may change after I play through DAI once or twice, but it's unlikely. (I only romanced Zevran and Anders once in all the times I played DAO/DA2, and I never finished those playthroughs.)
So, erm. Yay! My human mage can cuddle up to Cullen, and my elven rogue can snuggle with Solas. If the guys like my ladies, anyway.
I made my Dalish Inquisitor with that paperdoll thingy. Or at least, how I hope I can make her look. The site was even nice enough to have a tattoo I could use in the place of Ghilan'nain's. =3

lol, I can imagine! It's certainly an unusual situation... this is one of those powers you'd rather not know your comrade-in-arms possesses...
I managed to stay out of the loop for a really long time when it came to DAI. I didn't want to have any information about the possible companions, about plot details, story outcome and so on... which is something I've tried to do (and failed) earlier, with DA2, ME2 and ME3. There's always something that makes me so curious I can't resist looking into it, and before I know it I'm scrounging forums, wikis and twitters to find out every last detail we know about the game beforehand.
For DAI, that something (or someone) was Solas. I just had to find out more about him, and now... well. Better luck with staying out of the loop for the next Mass Effect I guess
Now I am just imagining Solas walking into a rather awkward, raunchy situation in Lavellan's dream, regarding himself.

I can't believe there are people saying they "cheered more loudly" for a straight Blackwall than they would have for a bisexual one. SO MUCH LOVE for the extra year right now. I hope the game is a big hit and BioWare continues to get the time it needs to make their games the best they can. I had my issues with DA2 (there were ideas I liked in it as well), but I think its biggest issue was simply lack of development time.

Yup. That extra year gave us all sorts of good things. 
This is why I don't mind development extensions--it can only make a good game better.
