Sera's VA was the same way, right? Oh well... would have been awesome if they all had a video. I'm really enjoying them.

 

Sera, Solas, and Cole all had their VAs given on Twitter.  Since we haven't heard who Blackwall's is yet, I'm guessing he has a video.  Maybe if they start doing videos more than once a month there might be one?  I'd love to see one from GDL but I don't think it's very likely.

 It's bad to say this but... I'm so jealous of the Viv and Dorian vids  I really wish Solas will get a voice actor video too. I love the way they do their vids, they are really funny to watch. Keep them coming Bioware!

Oh gosh I was laughing so much during Ramon Tikaram's video! Props to the Dorian fans that figured that one out MONTHS ago!

 

Now I really, really hope that GDL has a video too! He's pretty hilarious from what I've seen of him and I think his video would be great. I really hope all of them have videos that we'll get to see at some point!

 

If the thing about them being announced on Twitter is accurate, then he might not get one. Maybe some of the actors just had other things going on and couldn't make them? I don't imagine that they couldn't take a few minutes and pop out at least something though.

 

Edit: Also, is anyone just going to roll with three mages at one point JUST for the voices? Vivienne, Dorian and Solas's voices are all so incredibly swoon worthy. Team Sexy Voices and Sexy Explosions will be happening at some point in the game, that's for sure. Let's see how I get by with an all mage party!

Yeah we most likely won't get one for GDL because it's been for the VAs not confirmed on Twitter. : ( want one more than anything though. Preferably saying everything in iambic pentameter, that would certainly be entertaining. But pretty sure we won't get one for GDL.

Videos like this and Indira's make me wish the announcement for GDL was later and done similarly. But....we did get that shout out courtesy of Mademon so...can't really complain, there. lol

I'm with RynJ, regarding the "all mage run", just for those swoon-worthy voices. (swap in Cass and Varric, now and again, for good measure. *nod!*)

I must admit that sometimes I feel like I want to go with 4 mages, myself and the other 3 companions, because not only do they sound great but I think the banter between them would be just hilarious.   May be after I've cleared out an area I'll go out for a stroll with them just to see what happens.

 

In the end I think I'll be boring a go with my favourite name that I have used constantly in the past for my female elf mages, Seren.   It means star in Welsh and in this case will be very appropriate as she intends being a guiding light to her people and in her eyes that includes both city elves and Dalish.    She wants to set them free not just from slavery and servitude to humans but also the shackles of the past.  In other words a bit of a visionary.     Doesn't always see eye to eye with the elders in the clan but manages to stop short anything that will get her outright banished.    She also has the advantage of being a mage so they find would find it difficult to reject her considering they are a bit thin on the ground in the Dalish.   She suspects that she was given the spy job because the Keeper wanted her out of her hair for a while and may be thought it would open her eyes to the reality in the wider world.    I'll wait and see what transpires in the story but I wouldn't put it past her to start her own clan, with Solas if he's willing, and go recruiting in the alienages, if nothing else to undermine the efforts of the Qun in that direction.

 

My backstory is growing by the day; it is the only way to keep myself ticking over until the release.

Awesome! I guess he and Cullen can swap name ideas, since clearly being straight and only wanting humans or elves for a lover means Cullen likewise wants babies. I'm sure they'll be great dads!

Didn't someone say they were going to tweet someone and ask? I guess they never got a response back. I'll guess some shade of blue and it's a bug or the lighting making them look brown in some shots.

Anyway! It seems kind of weird not to make VA videos for all the companions, but then I guess nothing Bioware's done so far with the marketing has made much sense so I won't be holding my breath for a GDL vid xD
