Oh I can see it now.. Solas and Quizzy just starting to like each other and then Cole always comes in to the picture .. Hmm not really good with banter but I'll try making and example:

 

The inquisition is going through Frostback mountain.

 

Cole: Why do you guys keep looking at her like that?

 

Solas: W-what are you going on about?

 

Cole: You know, I've seen you look at her a lot lately.. If something is bothering you you should just say something..

 

Solas: Cole you kno-..

 

Cole: It's her hair isn't it? It bothers you. I knew it

 

Quizzy: My hair? What wrong with it?!

 

Cole: Ahh, I have no problem with your hair, it's Solas.

 

Solas: Don't drag me into this!

 

Quizzy: Solas, what's wrong with my hair?

 

Solas: Nothing is wrong with you at all. I see no flaws in you...

 

Quizzy quickly turn around hiding her blushing face

 

Varric: This will be an interesting spice to your story.

 

Quizzy: Varric, don't you dare .. L-let's move on!

I think my Inquisitor is going to have some nervous twitch from time to time with Cole and Solas around.

I really really like them , but when I roleplay mages one of my main rule is Never Trust The Fade.

 

This would have been very true with my Surana, and maybe if I was playing a hyper traditional Dalish...  But I've long had in mind that my Dalish Inquisitor was going to be a highly inquisitive (hurrhurr) personality with more interest in the greater world than his clan considered healthy most of the time.  (He's gonna need one of those Disney Princess songs LOL) As someone who enjoys thinking outside the box, he's likely to see Solas as a kindred spirit.  It may come back to bite him in the butt, but that's the ride.

Also, some pages back, whoever the person was that referenced Maynard... His voice is unique. Soothing, haunting, beautiful. I loveeee Tool but I more so enjoy APC. So yeah, +10 awesome points for you. You've leveled up! You're now a level 2 human being.

From the OP. This worries me, what is team crushed expectations? Does that mean not an li? Sera is female only, crushed male het gamers expectations. Cole is not LI because, well it's Cole. I'm worried Solas isn't an LI and that gives female het gamers no companion LI options. Iron bull doesn't count due to either being a fling or a niche.

Maybe that team is apparently the most loved team by players. People are curious about where they are from and what they think.....  Sera, Cole and Solas......   Weird characters with cool expectations.
