I hope no one takes this the wrong way, but seeing the various ages on here makes me happy. I was worried for a long time that by the time I was the age I am now (24) video games and fandom would no longer be relevant to me, especially since my mom was always commenting on me being too old for that stuff. Thankfully that didn't happen, but I don't have any female friends that play the kind of games I do or coo over pixels like I do. I almost felt like I was strange. Maybe I am strange, but seeing people of various ages doing the same thing I do has made me realize that at least I'm not strange alone and that it won't matter if I'm still strange twenty years from now. At least now when my mom comments on playing games at "my age" I can say "Candy Crush player say what?"

25, and still very much in love with things people said I would grow out of! Like Harry Potter, video games, and Winnie-the-Pooh. XD

 

Luckily, I have a couple gamer friends who I can fangirl with, but not to the extent I can get away with on the internet. I come on here and squeal and people will usually squeal right along with me. XD

Ceiris- 

 

Rift mage. Inappropriate to an embarrassing degree but with her heart in the right place. In possession of a fascination with non-elf races but tends to treat them like pets sometimes, hopefully she will get disabused of that. Obnoxiously cheery and a lover of all things animal. Tortures Solas lovingly. Loves books and gathering knowledge and will spend most of her time in either Skyhold's library or stables. Will sometimes become distracted by other things so will need her companions to shake some sense into her and point her in the right direction. She ultimately has the best interests of others at heart and will try to do what she thinks is best for the common man. Basically, the cutie-pie in a world that really abuses those types.

 

*sigh* she won't last a second in Thedas.

 

I have no backstory for her yet though.

I am not bothered by Solas' age. I imagine my elven quizzy to be closer to my age (25) and I'm not sure that'll change too much when I play. I do like the older gentlemen. Like a fine wine and all that

Patrick Weekes said that he is in his early-to-mid forties and often have "kids these days" talks with Blackwall.
 
Has this information wavered your decision to romance him at one time? or do you have a headcanon about your Inquisitor's age? Or do you just not care at all?

No not at all it was a bit surprising PW saying Solas was in his 40's cause I thought to myself " he looks younger than that!". But still it didn't change anything for me. My husband is 18 years older than moi and it doesn't bother me. Also just like Nyma when I was in my teens I did have crushes on older men from time to time. Still I'm 34 and 40 is not to far away for me and that's probably how old my inquisitor will be.

@MILKY My first inquisitor will be a female Dalish elf and she will be a rogue probably an Archer. Her personality so far will be is she's a Strong, optimistic person and will be romancing Solas of course. ^^

eh. I had to literally fight against my own parents for years about videogames, comics, anime, manga and movies.  and I had to listen to the usual "you are still so childish!! almost 30 and you still play lik a kid!!!" because two days ago I had ordered my PS4 for my birthday. 27 years and I still have to roll my eyes, let my brain run free with the strenght of imagination while my ears barely register my parents words. the same for the last ten years.

 

luckily I have many (way older) friends who share my same passions, but few really interested in RPGs. (if you don't count the fabulous people on RPGItalia  )

I plan on making my quizzi extremely cautious of the other races, especially humans, so I can imagine bringing Solas and Sera along with me a LOT, just to stay in character. xD She's also a bookworm, enjoys studying, adventuring, keeping herself to herself. A total hermit. It'll take her a while to open up and let her guard down, but when she does, it will be to Solas.

I have an inquisitor planned out for him:

 

Her class will be a mage, specializing in necromancy. Not sure what her name will be but I think it will be based on gemstone names. I'm going to base her personality and some of her looks on the awesome Billie Lurk from the game Dishonored: Knife of Dunwall. In the game, Billie is a lieutenant assassin working under Daud, the head of their black magic using assassin group. Her lieutenant position is similar to being a First to the Keeper. Her personality is straightforward and aggressive, my inquisitor will be like that but a bit more lighthearted and sarcastic. I think her alignment will be lawful evil or chaotic neutral. She'll respect the traditions and rules of the clan but will ultimately go her own way and have her own agenda like Billie.
