I totally understand the disappointment, believe me! But I agree with Min, we have it pretty damn good (romance option!!) and we've seen and heard (thanks #Assquisitor!) more stuff on Solas than a lot of the other companions in the recent months, so I'm okay with him ending up last compared to the others this time around. That's just my own personal view though 
But yeah, sucks to get your hopes up and then dashed by having him taken off for the next "round". Marketing gonna market I guess lol

Just saw this on the Twitter thread. You can barely see him cause the picture is small but I think that is Solas in the background with fireballs in his hands.

I'm a pessimist so I was sure it would be Vivienne, but I was not expecting him not to be in the next batch lol.
If only that pic was bigger, I would set it as my desktop. The reign of Tali would be over, maybe.

All we have left to wait for are: Cole, Dorian, Solas and Varric. So even if Solas is last we still won't have to wait long and we'll get more badass pics on the way (I hope Cole's is suitably creepy). It's nice to see Bioware is starting to ramp up the hype a bit.
Shame they're not doing Advisor pictures, though.

Wow it's beautiful. It has like an ethereal atmosphere to it, it does look like it could be something ancient elven related. The scenery in this game is amazing.

I'm not sure why he's not an option anymore. Only explanation I can think of is that they're still working on his final look maybe. Either way he should be next

I've been trying to get my mum into DA since she really enjoys Game of Thrones, I've managed to get her interested in Inquisition so hopefully she may want to play first two games as well. I hadn't thought of showing her youtube clips, I may have to utilise your daughters' idea, if that's okay with them
I'm happy about the older LIs too, it really does acknowledge that there's more to the gaming demographic than the sprightly 19 year olds. But I have to say it seems odd that some people are surprised by the age of some gamers, weren't the first gamers getting started in the 70s on the Odyssey and D&D?
Go for it, it's a good way to help show what the game is about! They were showing me clips from several games that they thought I'd like to try, and hit it dead in the bullseye with DAO. And I agree, I don't know why there's a perception that people over 25 don't game, but then again, I worked in a game store when my kids were young, so I know who came in to buy things. I was also surprised when my daughters told me there's a perception that women don't game. I started out with the original D&D and Traveler myself, and our group was usually over half women.
