I know how you feel. Hawke is probably easier to implement, though. By the time the game is over, however, I better hear something about Leliana reuniting with her lady lover. She'd better at least have the nug with her. The nug that I paid a guy 20 silvers to wrangle.

My Warden have still to ask "explenation" to Alistair about giving around the amulets she (stealed) recovered around.  expecially to give them to a damn shemlen who before say to a girl they would protect her, than just stay motionless while she became a damn fountain fo blood by the very hands of her husband.

 

the Warden may have had a blank face, but she acted when it was the right time. Hawke is blank when there should be action to do.

I'm with you on the Warden disappointment, I have no attachment to Hawke at all...she never felt like my character, I know others feel the complete opposite...so yay for them I guess.

 

I think, as suspected, people are far more likely to relate to the Inquisitor than Hawke as their own as we have all that choice back...

I kind of wanted my Solas romancing Inquisitor to meet her fellow Dalish hero. I headcannoned my Warden as a potential mentor into how to deal with Shemlen   I guess she'll continue to just be a piece of modern history for my Dalish First to study. I hope the little tidbits you hear about your Warden are good ones though. I really enjoyed my Dalish getting the occasional mention from her clan/Merrill in 2. Just a shame her LI was broken (Zevran) 

 

I don't mind Hawke though. My favourite is the one who is connected to my Dalish Warden playthrough, so I'm looking forward to him showing up and how he will interact with my Inquisitor. They er, probably won't get along. 

Now I just need to try and get him uploaded. They do not like to show up on here.

 

Oh and that CC. Wow. I definitely know one thing about my inquisitor for sure; they are going to be smoking hot.

I'm on the opposite side of Warden or Hawke. My Warden has spent the last ten years turning to dust in a tomb, and I never cared enough about my Orlesian warden in Awakening to get attached to her. I don't care if I never see her again, but I had a lot of fun with Hawke.

 

And this is probably why it was difficult for them to find ways to bring the silent, potentially dead Warden back.

Even though my Wardens aren't rotting in a tomb   (One is still angry at Alistair for dumping her and wants to set him on fire with her magic and the other is married to him) I am closer to my Hawkes than the Wardens cause I guess I like the game better. I still like my Wardens but not as much as my Sarcastic Hawke or Diplomatic Hawke. Maybe they will have something for our Wardens another time who knows.

That is very nice, but am I the only one who has noticed how Cole and Solas are kind of in the background as if there wasn't room in the picture for them to huddle? They're the only ones that look unhappy, too. Maybe they forgot about Cole and Solas decided to keep him company.

I don't know Cass doesn't look too thrilled either.

And sarcastic Hawke is the best Hawke. Just sayin'.

Hi guys! I've written a little bit of Solas/Elfquisitor fanfic. I'm quite new to it all and I'm not a very good writer, so I'm a little nervous but do tell me what you guys think. Verana is the name of my quizzi, I've decided. It's not finished and I'm not sure where it's going, but I imagine this is before the actual romance and there's a little bit of tension between the two.

"Inquisitor..?"

 

Verana pulled her eyes up from a book of ancient Elven scriptures she had been studying that evening. She was sat on a rug on the floor, legs crossed with only the flame of a candle to aid her reading. She squinted her eyes, barely able to distinguish the silhouette in the doorway waiting for her response. It was Solas.

 

"I shouldn't be lecturing the leader of the Inquisition, but..."

 

"No, you shouldn't. You already do that enough as it is," she interrupted with an annoyed tone.

 

"Oh? I thought my knowledge and expertise were a welcome addition..." He paused, expecting a reply. "Goodnight then, Inquisitor."

 

"Wait," she said, suddenly. "I'm sorry, Solas. It's just been... a bad day," she sighed, closing her book and laying it down beside her.

 

"I know. I didn't come here to bother you. I was..." He paused and considered his words. "I was concerned."

 

She smiled to herself for a second. "No need. I will be fine. The healers have done all that they could for me."

 

"Oh, I don't doubt that at all. They are very talented. Injuries can be healed after all, but the mind... is a little more complicated."

 

He took a cautious step forward, entering her quarters. She was now able to see the stoic and calm expression on his face and it somehow comforted her. She rose up to her feet, dusting off the dirt from the floor and watched him approach her. He was always so quiet and graceful with his footing, as if he contemplated each and every step.

Personally, I'm glad I wont be meeting my Warden in Inquisition, because I am attached to her. Because she was so much of a blank slate role-play wise versus a set character with one of three personalities like Hawke, I feel like there is no way the developers could do my headcanon of who she is justice. And I would prefer she remain as I imagine her rather than having that contradicted by some voiced NPC who's speech and personality would inevitably be very different to how I envisioned her. I do hope she is mentioned by Morrigan and Leliana, and that I can get some sense of what she might be up to, but I'd prefer to leave the specifics to my imagination.

Hawke, on the other hand, I would like to see again. She was fun to play, and would be fun to talk to, especially since I played aggressive/direct Hawke. I just hope she's not too much if a jerk

I haven't been here in a while so thought I'd drop by! Hey lovelies! I have birth to a healthy baby girl September 3rd (since I know a bunch of you knew I was pregnant.) and things are great!


Also, wanted to just come in and say Solas is going to be my first romance I do in the game. With a mage named Amari. I'm thinking she'll have black hair and green eyes... I'm also excited to see the vallaslin we can get in game. Hoping its more similar to the ones in origin as I loved them!
