Oh gosh, I'm cracking up imagining Solas's face changing so often in the game.

 

You're in a cutscene focused on Solas, then you focus on something else and when you return to Solas, his face has changed. Somehow I wouldn't even be surprised!

I can't wait to see how all his outfits vary. How all the outfits vary on different companions at that. Love his default ones though. I wonder why all his clothing is ragged though.

I'm glad he still has his butt chin too. Idk...maybe the reason why his clothes are ragged is because well he lives outdoors. I think they said somewhere that no matter what outfit you put on the companions they will look like their style. But I do remember seeing Sols in that blue outfit and it looked real nice...I could totally be wrong on the whole subject lol! XD

I can see his eyes as blue-gray too. I think the number of fan will increase once the game is out.

Can we be sure that if anyone wants to post such things here that they give very fair warning and a use a spoiler tag? Maybe do the same once the game launches and people are at different points in the game? I don't want to stop coming here to catch up or compare our adventures, but spoilers are just no.

That's less a worry to me than great big chunks of plot spoilers. I have no problem checking spoilers if I need help with an area, as long as I've played my way to that point to see the story for myself. Romance spoilers would be hard to stay away from, but if there's a tag I can at least pretend I considered doing so before I looked.

I'm worried about logging in to Tumblr and getting spoiled of romance plots. Someone may be further along in the Solas romance and I could get spoiled that way. I hope people will tag their stuff.

Morning! Just wanted to check in with the thread, since I haven't been around much. Life got very busy and I'm horrible at multitasking. I finally managed to watch the Twitch video yesterday, and I'm torn between joy and despair at the amount of time I'm going to be spending in the CC. SO MANY OPTIONS. The eyes alone will keep me busy for hours. Also, even though I likely won't play a Qunari until playthrough #3, such cool horns, seriously.

 

The new Solas screenshot made my morning! Out of all the characters, I think his face has changed the most. Love that the scar and buttchin seem to be in. His lips are just...*garbled speech and yummy noises* I stand by the comment I made wayyyy back when he was first revealed and I started commenting 'round these parts, which was that he'll probably end up being one of the most popular characters. He's been so under the radar. And now people are noticing how pretty he is. LOOK HOW FAR OUR ELVEN BABY HAS COME! *wipes away tear*

 

I was looking through the "introduce yourself" quizzes in the thread this morning...you all are just as interesting and talented as I expected.  I'm too lazy to go back and find the initial questionnaire, but I want to play, so in summary: I'm Kendra, 37, straight female, two Newfoundlands, one Siberian cat, three kids, married forever, from NY but live in MD. I write books for a living. I'm an INFP and a Cancer, and I fit the descriptions very well...which is probably the best explanation I've got for why I'm so interested in Solas. I've loved him since he was Baldy McSmuggins, because I love elves, and also dat smirk. Okay, and dem thighs. Gotta say, though, the fact that he was SUCH a dark horse, plus Gaider's irritated defense of him, were what completely sold me. I like underdogs.  I'll be romancing him with my curious, sarcastic Maia Lavellan. And I still don't know if she's an assassin or a knight enchanter, because I am bad at decisions. In closing, I love it in here because it's like a big friendly pajama party all the time.

Just to let everyone know, there's nothing game-breaking out right now spoiler-wise so don't get all freaked out yet! It's not technically new information that's floating about.
