It'd be nice to get more footage of him but, at this point, it wouldn't be the end for me if they didn't.

 

Oh wow. Haha. I just realized this, but on the release date of the game my bf and I will have been together exactly 3 years and 4 months. Yes, honey. I love you too, but you have to watch me try to get my sexy on with another man. I mean, he's fictional so it's not like I'm being unfaithful or anything.

 

Also, I'm nearing the painting's completion (As I type this, my right hand is stained with Sap Green and Yellow Ochre). It'll probably be posted in the next few days just for drying time but, hopefully, completed today. Would have finished it earlier but stupid school and all that.

 

My husband just informed me he'll be on travel all release week. I may or may not have done this:

I have trained mine to heat up soup and make mac & cheese with broccoli. They'll be fine!

 

It's Thanksgiving dinner which I am hosting where I need the house and the food to be presentable. I doubt my family will be keen on a Dragon Age themed meal! at least I get a week...maybe.

@ Dacarys and Chrislynn I'm trying to figure out if my oldest knows enough about cooking to start Thanksgiving dinner (except for the turkey) so I can play until all the relatives show up.  My house doesn't have to be clean - does it?

 

Can't take off work for release as it is our busy season (so many cows, so little time).  But I can kick my Thanksgiving guests out early, can't I (they are old and need their sleep - I'm sure this is true)?

 

OOH, a thought. My oldest cleans - maybe I can bribe him with his own copy of Inquisition if he cleans the house for me?  Hands vacuum and mop to oldest child; he's a boy scout- he is supposed to help people- right?

 

Yup, that's what I'll do. One digital download of PC deluxe edition for me so I can play as soon as kids are on the bus to school.  One physical copy of PC deluxe edition my son can play (and I can steal the physical edition goodies from him).  Maybe a PS4 version in the future when we upgrade.

Bribes can work very well. Me, I started my kids cooking as soon as they could safely reach the stove, then later let them "choose" between chores. What kid wouldn't prefer cooking to scrubbing toilets and bathtubs? I should note that both of my kids, in their 20s, are amazing cooks.

Do y'all suppose Solas had any lady friends out in the wilderness, or..? And do you think his village was near the city of Solas, or is that just a coincidence? And if he ran into Dalish clans during his travels, why do you suppose he never joined them?

Poor Solas in the new video! Haha everybody expressed their concern about him at some point in this video. My favorite was at the end when the Inquisitor is like "Solas, be careful" or something along those lines after Solas got knocked over.

 

The entire video I was just like, urrrrrgh protect the squishy mage. PROTECT MY SQUISHY MAGE!!!

 

Edit: Also, on that note, I really like how the party members notice when another party member is having trouble and will point it out or express concern. I love that camaraderie feel!

 

Edit again: Just watched again and Solas's grunting when he jumped made me giggle~

Yeah, our poor squishy mage is the proverbial glass cannon. 

 

Inquisitor: Ranged combat, Solas.  Not melee.

 

Solas: Tell that to our enemies.  I was staying back.

 

Inquisitor:  Don't you know any defensive spells?  You spent years in the wild, after all. 

 

Solas: None of those apply in this situation.

 

Inquisitor:  Really?

 

Solas: turns into a mouse and hides in Inquisitor's pack. SQUEEK
